Great vid very quick tune! After finding min and max power at rear reg by adjusting hammer spring the airgun should be balanced between regulator pressure and hammer spring tension correct? After this you check your valve preload. Now my big question, if you make another adjustment to your power wheel or micro adjuster do you need to readjust the valve spring tension? Thank you for all you’ve done for the Airgun community Sir. Great resource for information and great products.

I have a M3 22 cal . I have a 700cc bottle =300 bar . First reg is at 190 second 150. I have 700mm barrel , NSA pin probe . I plan on shooting between 40-28 grain slugs . How fast should I be getting out of the 34-36 grain slugs ? I’ve seen 1007 but I think it should be faster .

Hi Ernest, for my m3 cal.25 I have a pro macro pin 16 micro 3 valve at 4.5 and a second regulator at 110, is this okay? I tested it at 95 but I see little difference in accuracy

Thanks for this perfect instruction. I am quite not shure what is the best value for my FX impact M3 (Standard), caliber .25 (also with Power Plenum, same as you have)? Can you say me what for settings i should start for test? Reg1, Reg2, Valve, hammer spring and Micro Weel. The Accuracy isnt good in moment. When i check the speed from diabolo, i get arround 750fps, but it should be much more for efficient accuracy (tell me the Manufacturer). Thank you for help me with the settings.
My pellets/Diabolo are JSB Exact Heavy 33,95gr and JSB Exact King 25,39gr.

Hy all, If the 720 power plenum is set on FX MK2 what will be the energy available ? On MK2 with classic plenum its 41 joules (30 ft/lbs) for 5,5 (.22) at the moment.
Ernest is there chance that my first was set wrong from factory on my m3.
On the left side of gun Its currently at 130 with factory gauge. My sehket gauge installed on the angle bracket shows 129 bar but the fx gauge under the stock shows 120 bar.

Is the FX Impact M3 meant to blow air out the back just behind the mag from the vertical vents located behind the power plenom?? Minne does that and its quite annoying. I never however see you flinch or react from the blow back. Is this normal??

Good evening Mr. Ernest Rowe Nielsen, I purchased these Specialty Ammo Airgun Slugs - .30 Caliber (.300), 54.5 Grain, 175 Count, I understand they are a little heavy, however I am not going to through them away. Would you please help me set these pellets with my new FX Impact M3 30 Cal? I don't know how fast they should be not much else. I just bought it May 5, 2022. Thank you, I hope you can help me.
I have a M3 25 cal. When tuning, the highest MV is ~780ft/sec with 1st reg 170, 2nd reg 155, 16/3.5, valve 5.5. You note the 25 cal 2nd reg should be 90 and you get1000+ ft/sec.....how? When I use your settings, I can get only sub-800 ft/sec MV of a 33.5 gr slug. What am I doing wrong?
M3 600 .22....currently 140 1st reg: 92 2nd reg: Macro 4: Micro 1 3/4 : Knob 4. Should I expect better efficiency and smother shot cycle by dropping the 2nd reg to 80-82, while increasing the Macro higher and final fine tuning the Micro closer to 2.5 or 3 (closer to the center of its spectrum?
Hello, does one need to degas the FX M3 to lower regulator pressure like on the Maverick?
How do you know where the tune is sitting on the bell curve without first determining max fps for a given reg pressure?
This is my question too. As far as I know, we have to always max the hammer spring for a desirable speed and then reduce it 3-5% using the valve adjuster. I didn’t find any info on the M3 bell curve yet. Would be nice to have it clarified.

some other "snippets" that escape me right now, to be honest, it is all stuff we already know, power wheel down to one, Reg down, valve turned.
But, no were have I seen a claim of sub20 ftlbf tune (in an fac gun)

Currently I own Mk2 .30 and waiting ofr the stock to arrive for M3 .22
I managed to tune mine Mk2 .30 for JSB 44.75gr pellet on power level 1 around 664 fps on average.
Accuracy is not perfect, comaring to normal power mode, but not bad at all, at 45 meters 5 shots group will be almost all touching, if i do my part and no wind.

Hello, I regularly watch your videos. They are super. But I would like to ask a question. I have a M3 sniper in .22 and .30 When I set the macro to 16 with micro to 3.5 I get the same result with the hammer on 1 and micro on 5. The pellets
come out at the same speed. Is this normal?
You may need to call our technician department, your regulator could be low, or your valve adjuster is not tuned correctly we would need some more information. Regards, FX Airguns USA
