After owning the M4 Competition with more or less the exact same engine setup this feels so much more sportscar-like & very very refined. I am amazed by those number as well as it has the same speed to 100 although its a manual and is faster to 200 km/h...again compared to our DCT M4 Competition pre-WLTP and without the OPF! I always wanted an M4. Yesterday, my brother told me he wants an M2 which prompted me to watch this video. I actually would love an M2 now. It sounds awesome and look cool and the fact it has a manual gearbox ticks all the boxes for me. Far better sounding than any electric crap.

EKO ja der GT4 ist der puristischere, ultimativerer Sportwagen, real aber auch noch mal 15-20.000€ teurer als der M2CS

Automann-TV both have 550Nm max, so M2 CS just keeps the 550Nm longer above 5.000rpm ?!
No it just has more peak hp...simple as that🤩🤙
Automann-TV ...more Peak hp by keeping the 550Nm still at higher revs / or having a smaller Nm reduction above 6.000
Acceleration performance, or increased acceleration, correlates 100% with Nm curve:
E.g.: 50Nm on top to 500Nm = 10% faster acceleration

Can someone explain why there are different number separation on the gauge? I mean, between 80 and 100 AND 100 and 120 there is only one number indicated, 90 and 110 respectively. Then, between 120 and 150 there are two lines, 130 and 140. What is the usage of this? Thanks a lot in advance!

For me it depends on what you want to do with the car ... in such a car manual or paddle shift auto is almost a detail because it s such a fun car whatsover ... it s rather a question of habits or preference ..

Der hört sich im Innenraum wenigstens nicht so furchtbar künstlich an. wie der M5 Competition.
Der künstliche Sound im M5 klingt aber gut (bin live drin gesessen). Außerdem hätte BMW das ja sonst nicht einprogrammiert.

Seems it’s another transmission than in the regular m2, the gears are longer, and the revs is more suitable for cruising
impressive for a manual, my (EU)2018 Mustang GT with the A10 was a little bit quicker to 100, 2 tenths slower to 200 and 0.5 slower 100-200
Press cars usually have a tad more power than the regular ones...

Lol, what aventador s is that slow? I think u have a mistake here. The aventador s does around 5.6 seconds from 100 - 200. So 0-200 might be around 8.4😂😂

@@gioironman I know Auto top nl. Check the first acceleration, check the numbers and then check the 2nd. Iyou don't see it, because they didn't go full throttle. It's not true and the aventador s is much faster. You can check other tests too.
@@gioironman the first acceleration from auto top nl is legit and there they measure 6.55 from 100-200 :) the last is not at full throttle

und ne halbe ewigkeit langsammer als ein m340i mit mhd stage 2. ja serie gegen tuned, aber wenn wir nur von den zahlen reden, für 80k bekommst du einen neuen m340i mit allen waffen ausgestattet. 550 ps und 720nm 😉 der macht nicht weniger Spaß und ist mit einem normal sterblichen hinterm steuer nicht langsammer auf dem track

I thought, because of the add. HP, it should be faster than a Cayman GTS4.0....🤔 that’s equally fast with 50HP less... still great car though!
Cayman GTS 4.0 is lighter and naturally aspirated engines always have an advantage in high-rev full power tests!
Automann-TV NA Engines don’t have an advantage 100-200kmh compared to turbocharged engines with same hp - they just don’t have this huge disadvantage anymore when just driven until or below 4000-5000rpm

Honestly I think this sounds quite decent...something between our previously owned raw M4 Comp. and the M2 with 370hp. As the 370 hp engine always had a different tone to it I was never really a huge fan of it...and besides cold-start it wasn’t really loud either🧐

I disagree....this CS has so much fine tuning in it off the factory that you have to find a darn good tuning company to reach this degree of perfection. It’s like saying you could buy a GT3 and make a GT3 RS out of it on your own🤷♂️

Bei 4,4 Sekunden kann man sich als Kunde schon verarscht vorkommen. Soviel Aufpreis und keine 4 Sekunden. Deswegen hat er den Vergleich mit dem cla45s verloren bei GRIP. Weil er die 4 Sekunden gar nicht bringt. Die Kraft entfaltet sich später

Ich weiß nicht was bei Grip die Kriterien sind/waren aber dieses Auto fährt in einer anderen Liga als A/CLA 45s...da kann der 45er mMn nur in objektiven Messdaten mithalten aber nicht beim “Feeling” und der Qualität. Das hier ist eher ein Porsche 718 GTS 4.0 Konkurrent, klar auch preislich.
Der M3 cs schneidet meiner meinung nach im gesamten besser ab, da hätte ich mehr erwartet vom M2cs, nur das handschalten is mehr Vorteil.
Ein M2 oder einen M2CS kauft man sich nicht für Stammtisch 0-100 Werte:
0-100 war in den 90ern das Kriterium, heute sind die 100-200 Werte viel aussagekräftiger

Und wenn du dir Carwow oder andere DragRace/Rolling Race Videos anschaust, siehst du das ein M2 CS nun mal eine andere Liga ist als ein RS3. Ein RS3 ist schnell, keine Frage, aber nicht so schnell wie der eine oder andere es gerne hätte. Man muss nun einmal auf dem Boden der Tatsachen bleiben. Sorry
