Kentucky Ballistics is basically what would happen if Gallagher ran a firing range in his backyard. He also nearly died due to a faulty .50 cal rifle failure, and is friends with essentially everyone in the celebrity gun community. He's like a 400 pound capybara.

those were in order a Spiked Mace, then a Flanged Mace the sword is a Ring Wraith sword unfortunately those are just wall hangers not combat grade weapons
I love Kentucky, he's such a good guy and an absolute goof ball. You're gonna love his vids, especially when he brings out the literal Big Guns.
I practiced Martial Arts at Kensho-ryu Kenpo, and the 5th Degree Blackbelt, someone who earned the rank of Master of the Art (Is to a Black Belt what a Jedi Master is to a Jedi Knight), was practicing with Kama, his favored and most practiced weapon. Was slightly out of position, and scratched the entirety of his forearm. He checked after. It wasn't a scratch, & he went to get stitches. Also, was retired Marine. He told us this story to remind us that weapons, while fun, were not toys.

For those who don't know the chain on the flail is actually way too long historically flails were made so that the chain couldn't fully cover the handle so that the user had an area they could grip without fear of their weapon damaging them instead
Weapons used:
1 Morningstar
2 flanged mace
3 flail (single)
4 war hammer
5 flail (triple)
6 single hand long sword [not sure what kind]
7 spear
8 claymore hand-and-a-half
The spear. Single hand long sword, war hammer and flails are good qualities, not historical quality but good enough. The rest not so much.

About the flail, the boffer sport I'm part of (Dagorhir/Belegarth) does have a way to make a safe flail, but there's a LOT of rules to keep it safe.

If you want a 9ft sword that might actually be effective it’s gotta be like a buster blader type. The width is necessary
Also for those who don't know the "spear" would actually be considered a pike due to the shape of the tip the tip on a spear is more flared as a spear is not meant to be thrown were as pikes are

Kentucky Ballistics doesn't skimp on effectivity. Everything he uses is massively greater than a mall ninja caliber. He seeks real weapons.

I agree rapiers are glorified shivs and I love them for that. Flails are terrifying and it will be hard to convince me otherwise. Warhammer represent, my favorite type of medieval weapon proving once again to be absolutely terrifying.
I get most of my swords from BUDK for general weapons. I've never tried them, but I heard you can get the good stuff Kult of Athena

i believe Scott is ex-law-enforcement, so if firearms are more his thing, but this is an eye opener if they ever have a dedicated melee encounter.

low quality showcase weapons. but praises for the effort put into performance.
the spikes on the flail aren't meant to pierce the armour, it's supposed to dig into the armour preventing the flail from deflecting or bouncing off of the armour so that all of the momentum is getting transferred. so that you can really whack the fuck out of whoever you swing it at.
Its similar to a recoiless hammer and arrowhead.
