- Join me, Dr. Corey Yeager, and Joshua DuBois for an honest conversation
about wellness, faith, and the challenges we face as Black men. This is more
than a discussion; it's about breaking free of the stigma and finding strength in our vulnerability, intentionality, and community.
Special thanks to our program partners - The Huntsman Mental Health Institute, the Ad Council, and Values Partnerships.

I told all 3 of my kids, they were not mediocre or average, but were from the fabric of excellence. It was okay to be themselves, cry too. Not just for my two daughters, but for my Son as well, as he is my Firstborn.
🌬Me and my son are NOT darkness: we're just surrounded by it; NO MORE Cycles!!!
Additionally, every morning before I walked out the door, I prayed over them and had them repeat after me:
"I am Loved. I am Special. I am Unique. I am beautiful. I am Loved."
Start with and end with Love. Not based on good grades or good works , but simply because each of us is fearfully and wonderfully made, in God's Image & Likeness.
Give it up for our men wo are good dudes, great men of God!! Mental health is so important for EVERYONE.

Fellas......Inspirational! 👏🏾 TY 🤴🏾🤴🏾🤴🏾
May God bless this much needed platform. We all have soo much work to do to take back our young generation and
guide and support the older generation. When we strengthen our black men we strengthen our black community. Be
grounded in Christ first and all things will fall in place.
I have worked in the mental health field for over 40 years. This is so awesome. I will ask my grandson to watch this session. I am so grateful to you, Jonathan for all ways thinking of ways to help other.
Wow! There's power in the name of Jesus to break every cycle. My heart is really touched. God bless you'all
I watched the entire segment. I’m so full right now. Thank you brothers. I needed all of this.
** Enforcing boundaries, more than just setting them.
Barbers, yes. So important to our black and brown communities. The comraderie and bonding between brothers.
Thank you to all the barber shops. I remember as a single mom in NY, taking my son to the barber shop and how they included him in their conversations. Priceless. My son is now 40 and I see how he is big on health and wellness, physically, mentally, financially, socially, spiritually....
Wow what a rich, thoughtful, honest, enriching conversation. It’s great to see this in our community and for our men. It also helps us women to better support hearing the open dialogue. After all God created eve so Adam didn’t have to do it (life) alone.

This discussion was such a blessing for me! I enjoy mental health discussions so much and incorporating faith into the discussion made it 10x better! I have a masters degree in mental health and wellness. I'm looking forward to seeing how God will use me to also make an impact. I am excited to see what you discuss next.
Speak y'all love this need more episodes
Continue to have these sessions. Very empowered not only for the men's but for the ladies also.
Proud of your vision, relatable beyond measure
This was a powerful and enlightening conversation that needs to be more. Humbleness, don't compare, and understand yourself
I recently broke down mentally. I have been in active membership of a Christian group, where i was drained with helping people who were not really buoyant financially. One day last May, i could not match the right clothes, as i had just helped out with some, so in anger i walked out of the estate without my shoes. My friend thought it was a joke, until an elderly lady called me, and sat me down from walking bare--footed on the streets.
In her shop, i started to talk incoherently to myself. I later went to the hospital where i was diagnosed to have mild schizophrenia.
I believe it's partly due to spiritual activity and warfare, but i know it leans heavily to being traumatized emotionally for four years- not having my expectations met.
I was placed on anti-psychotic "Risperidone", but could not even take it religiously, as my circle is always heavily involved with church stuff.
I still am not healed, and feel fear all the time.
I hope I have a chance at a normal future.
Thank you for this episode.
😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉 l Love the intro...3 beautiful minds. Thank-you gentlemen for your vulnerability and sharing.
This was an awesome discussion. I shared the link with my husband and will definitely let others know about it. Kudos to each of you - Joshua Dubois, Dr. Corey Yeager and Jonathan McReynolds!!! Blessings 🎄❤️
I love the beauty salon because of that, to be able to talk to other ladies about my problems and they also share what they are going through. They make you realize that you are not alone.
👏🏾🎉👏🏾🎉👏🏾🎉👏🏾🎉👏🏾🎉👏🏾🎉👏🏾😊🌎 Beautiful ❤️ it is an honor to have tuned in to this wonderful words of wisdom Thank you Thank you 🙏🏾
I'm super geeked that this conversation has started and hopefully with no end in sight. Progressive Black Men.
Thank you for this important conversation and the transparency it took to have it. Father-lite is the plight of so many whether it’s due to choice, divorce, death, deployment, incarceration or mental illness as was the case for me. I never had the words for it as a child and even as an adult never could sum it up. This conversation was directed at men but as a woman it resonated with me as well. I pray that men will listen and begin to understand the true weight of their absence causes.
This was an amazing, thought provoking conversation. I really appreciated it. I will be sharing with others. 😊❤
This looks so good on you Johnathan. A ministry that's overlooked, thank you
I couldn’t wait to get off of work to watch. This was a beautiful and much needed conversation. This was very insightful. I thank you all for your truth and vulnerability 💜

Sons and daughters in the valley! Can't wait for the book...great stuff...sharing with the brothers in my life! Blessings Jonathon! God has been taking me back to basics since the turn of the year -on my Identity in Him! When are you coming back to Tobago?!! 🙏🙏
This was amazing, thank you all for doing this. As a recently divorced Christian woman, I Sar and watched this with my 11yr old twins and sent it to my ex-husband. My children and i are in therapy and it really helps. May God continue to bless you all.
Very vital & important conversations that we (all genders) always need to have to better our health, lifestyle, family, communities, present n future generations. Thanks for bringing it on-board @jonmcreynolds and the awesome panel👏🏽!!!
While listening on Wed, I gained some added knowledge to what I already know about "Mental Health" as a medical practitioner...😊
This was absolutely amazing, informative and very inspiring❤
It is difficult to be OK when the person you are with keeps telling you you are not. When the closest person to you, get in your head in front of your own mind, it is even worse.
Love this, so glad that you are having this conversation…👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Learning Alot
Awesome conversation. I'm definitely forwarding to dear friends.
God said that he visits the iniquities of the fathers on the 3rd and 4th generations, so it takes 4 generations for something to break off a family, but God also said if the 2nd generation repents, then the curse or cycle can be broken sooner. This was a good discussion. Thank you for doing this.
I am so enjoying this…..

A key to the heart...❤❤
