Stiff focus ring In Leica Summilux 1:1.4/50, It's not that hard to fix the stiff focus ring in this lens. Just take good care and REMEMBER to set small marks, BEFORE fully unscrew the helicoid!
I use LM47 with MoS2 grease from "LIQUI MOLY" to re-grease the focus assembly.

Hi, this is a very helpful video! I was following it trying to assemble my leica 50/1.4. However I met a problem and hope to get your suggestions. My 50/1.4 lens met a focus problem and needs to be calibrated. It always focused on closer item compared to the rangefinder. I wander if this is because the assembling part not in proper location or length? I checked the camera body. It works fine and focus accurately on mu other leica lens.
