I love how Greg is just slowly realising that he is just as crazy as the rest of his party
lmfao
Soon Greg will explode out of other people from the inside out
Yes 😂
Or the craziest?!
@@VivaLaDirtLeagueDnD He'll never realize it because after all he's just a garlic farmer and a Greg.
"I blacked out for a second there. Pretty sure I did nothing out of character"
-Greg, throughout this entire campaign
Damn
got them epic npc man references down I see :D
That’s how we explain this campaign in NPC man 😜
It just cracks me up to think about that quote every time Greg makes questionable choices 🤣
@@VivaLaDirtLeagueDnD oh hey bodger that's a interesting new hammer you got there.
Also greg: why is there all this smelly soil outside my shop?
*has yet to see the skeleton inside*
Alan breaking character and saying 'end this' is just GOLDEN!!!
"This is no game, its a prison"
Rob interviewing himself as a distraught, paranoid DM and ultimately agreeing with his views is the last episode.
Alternatively it would be with Rowan's psychologist character, who leaves him an emotionally crippled husk.
Oh I hope you're right!
"Behind the Dice with horribly ruined NPCs. " You did call it. Sort of.
I love how he comes in screaming and seemingly on fire, assumedly not knowing what's going on but then immediately settles in his seat and crosses his legs like he meant to be there the whole time.
That entrance set the whole thing up, brilliant!
hes an actor ofc he can :D
Rob is having FAR too much fun flexing his god powers 😆
Too much implies that there should be an upper limit, and he's crossed it.
GM doesn't Game Master it stands for God Mode!
Well as a GM he is literally the God of his creation, so...
Can’t wait for Bodger’s. Just a 30 minute deep dive of why you would willingly jump off an airship on a whim…
Or a full inspirational speech?
With no plot armor....
"Do ya have about 10 minutes..." Speech somehow ends with Bodger ranting on about Fish Lish and Sir Vey receiving temporary hit points.
Bro 😂
Bodgers reply: because I can, next question
I love that they can't even stay in character about the crevasse
it was bob that actually saved greg
*screaming in agony* "It's great to be here"
They are such professionals
Sir Vay. I get it. Clever.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Will the mystery guest be Sir Price?
and the preachy guest be Sir Monne
“This is the worst birthday ever!”
Still the best line in this entire series.
When I’m doing something and it’s going wrong I’ve been known to say out loud on Frank’s voice ‘Oh No!’ Makes me smile every time thinking how Rob did that.
I hope, when they get back to filming, Greg randomly has a futon in his inventory and has no idea where it came from.
Oh, that would be great!
i mean that would be great but what about the other interviews to come, we'll see who has the funniest prize option to win
@@Sarle426 True too, but that is is so funny would be a shame to pass on it!
it will fall from the ship on his head xD
@@Sarle426 I mean noone says it is a single winner drawing ;)
"There's nothing more creative than writing an instruction-manual for a robot sheep."
No truer words have ever been spoken.
Rob was definitely a great addition to the VLDL crew, bringing different and still great acting and content
This is just Rob venting all the chaos they cause.
This is the spin-off of a spin-off that none of us were expecting but are happy to see
Right?!
Absolutely
You missed a spin-off. It's a spin-off of a spin-off of a spin-off
Greg, realizing he's not as clean and innocent as he thinks 😆
That's all to the good. A man that age shouldn't be as clean and innocent as he thinks
@@kikidevine694 wow, i just realized its been a year
The man, the myth, the greatest garlic farmer alive as well as the Divine Actor, Greg!
True story 🍸🧐
What a creative way to do a recap of best moments while also creating new content! I really really look forward to the other interviews! Hope they'll also do Grinn 😄
Poor Greg. That whole crossing the crevasse still gives him PTSD.
Man people always say "these guys are terrible at staying in character," not realizing they're playing a character with their namesake playing an NPC character from VLDL... except for Bartholomew Osiris Bladesong, or BoB for short, that's a real guy, I met him once at a Dave Matthews concert, not sure what he was on but he just danced in front of a bathroom mirror making eye contact with his reflection the whole time.
He probably had too much to _drink_
Was he wearing trousers?
I thought BoB was just a fever dream, but now I'm not so sure... I think I met him at a club.
Can't wait for Bob where he emotionally breaks down over his dice rolls
That will be awesome. He may storm off the set just to get teleported back
This is brilliant! What a great way to create new content and pass the time before you can film again.
I'm gonna love the interview with Bartholomew Osiris Bladesong about how he rarely manages to be succesful with his blades. Two of them! Like the time he managed to miss a grappled sorcerer, multiple times.
Also, very interested if the compulsion to explode enemies from the inside had been lingering to surface. What really was the trigger?
so many good memories of playing D&D with my friends in the 80s and 90s, when your DM has a massive epic quest planned out for you and all your friends want to do is wander around the village doing stupid teenager stuff.
That’s exactly how we play 😂
@@VivaLaDirtLeagueDnD guess some things don't change. :)
as should be.
I absolutely love that around 5:53 Alan really starts laughing, begs Rob to stop and causes Rob to legitimately break and start laughing too. Then after a good chuckle, they lock back into character. Shows these guys have a good chemistry together. Greg is hilarious.
Hopefully he interviewed the rest of the gang. This is a fun and entertaining way of looking back at this 3rd campaign.
The rest are incoming!
This. Is. Genius. Thank you for doing your best to give us content, even during your lockdown! ❤️
I almost thought this was going to be a parody of between two ferns. But this is just as fantastic!
Seeing Rob as a god is VERY fitting, seeing as he's a god among men. I know it wouldn't be anyone else considering he's the DM but it's still very fitting.
You're too kind!
@@RobertHartleyGM Rob, your extra accounts are too transparent. Noone would praise anyone that much 😉
@@PalleRasmussen lol
@@PalleRasmussen a good one 😁
Lol, the teleportation one made me crack up. And surveys response afterwards made me even more laugh.
We need an updated version of this with Greg the Cleric.
Oh this is brilliant! It captures that same quirky chaos as the campaign, and gives us such fun recaps of some of our favorite character moments!
Poor Greg, having some of his most defining character moments also being his darkest! And the rope question killed me! 🤣 No one can keep a straight face when discussing the crevasse! 🤣😂
Thank you guys for being so generous to your fans and ensuring we’re still getting new and ridiculously entertaining content even during challenging times!! ❤️💙
Btw, Rob, the quarantine hair is really working for this character!! ❤️🔥🥵😝
OMG yes! I can’t wait for the other interviews, Bodger will be very interesting!
Calling it now, he's going to try to wander off set and into the crew 😅
interesting oooooorrrrrrr inspirational?
"So... what are we doing here, again...?"
Maybe he doesn't need to bother with a memory wipe before sending Bodger back.
Sir Vey....that's gold! Fantastic video 😂😂😂😂
"You know the wonderful High Sorcerer Baradun, yes?"
-sigh- "Yes, I know him."
Looks like Greg really dont like him
I'm just tired and giddy with more content but...Sir Vey made me laugh far more than I expected
OK, well if a teleport is out, FAST TRAVEL it is, where'd I put my chloroform?
How do you always manage to make us happy? The smile never left my face the whole video
Love the new idea guys. Definitely right up your guys alley. Top notch guys. Keep it up
Lol instant classic. Can't wait for the others to come out. I hope y'all do one where god Rob interviews dm Rob. "Where am I? What's this place? I thought this was just a game! Oh no, no, no, no. Please help!"
Everybody’s favorite garlic farmer ♥️
You can see EXACTLY when they`re getting out of their characters and getting back in, it`s incredible.
This is a fantastic way of filling the void left by the filming break
Honestly, shocked this isn't on the main channel. It's exactly the kind of advert that the D&D channel could use. Very good, very funny
Maybe we should put one or two on there :)
This made my evening! Greg is simply delightful in a murderous mischievous way lol!
Wow. What a charismatic interviewer. I bet this guy could read from some guide or manual and people would still watch.
A ...Monster... Manual?
@@RobertHartleyGM Yeah. Imagine some guy just sitting there and reading from it and people watching.
Holly Molly That's perfect!
I hope Sir vey becomes a canon npc in the campaign
Nobody expects the Sir Vey inquisition
Good to see the budget is getting better. Rob very much enjoyed your torturing of Greg /Alan. I hope Bodger/ Rowan is next.
This was way too good 🤣 Viva is legit way too funny sometimes
That moment when Rob breaks down in hs own talkshow xD. Love the format and can't wait for the others
I love the whole Judgement Day vibe this skit emits lol
So happy you get to film again!
oh boy, I can't wait for Bob's time to explain how he is somehow able to consistently get the killing blow on enemies and being completely useless through the majority of any fight.
Shake and bake......and I helped!!!
I live this in every game I play. My dice hate me also. lmao "statistically challenged and probability impaired'
Greg the garlic farmer is my favorite!👍
"aw, it's a shame that I won't remember it"
Holy fuck this was epically awesome to wake up to. Can’t wait for the whole team. And then watching this back to back. “Always wanted a a sheep, a metallic sheep...”all of this 🤣🍻the laughter, you can tell they genuinely loved and had fun doing this interview, it was fun to watch. The end lol.
Please don't end this. These people have the best ideas.
You really captured that 70's chat show style, love it!
Fantastic idea! Thank you guys for your effort and creative ideas to keep this show going in spite of lockdown. Thank you Rob and Alan and everyone else involved!
Well, this was such a fun, thank you very much! I think this was just a brilliant idea to launch these new "interview programs" about VLDL D&D sessions. Great use of the material that you already have, wonderful interaction and chemistry between you two, many good jokes, and Rob's new character is just awesome. :) And it's so good to remember all the adventures that the players have gone through and all the lessons they have learned (or not) in this campaign. :) Can't wait to see the interviews with the rest of the party members.
I love this. I love it so much. Thank you Viva. More please. More. I hope Bodger has an epiphany about how awful he is, and then forgets it.
Insomnia's killing me, when what do I find but a new VLDL video and series? Y'all are the best.
Edit: Oh my gods I love this and I cannot wait for more.
Oh wow, I love this! Made my morning...hilarious. Well done.
Also Rob, you need a talk show interviewing D&D characters.
You can call it NPC Mental Scarring. Seeing Rob as the embodiment of a god just passing judgement to the players is fantastic.
I am excited for Bob to be here!
We haven't filmed the BOB one yet...
This was absolutely amazing! I can't wait for Bob's
I love this, please do this with the rest of the cast, including the guest stars, such a good way to fill the time until we can get the next episode.
Really enjoyed this. Thanks VLDL for always trying to give us content even during lockdowns!
It took me to see this interview to realise the connection: He created Poppy - His sheep ran amok! - It all makes sense now.
Okay one of the best recap episode ever.
Dammm, our DM looks really Holy in this one
i love this xD I was actually loking forward to ever see some kind of highlight on each character aside from DnD or epic NPC man shorts :D you guys never dissapoint. I really hope that Rob will once interview himself about DMing xD
I can only imagine an episode with Bodger.
Oh I love this, this is a perfect companion to the campagn!!!
Thank you for your time and efforts making these videos. This channel was single-handedly the one that gave me the bravery to join a D&D game (albeit, online, my town is tiny and not enough interest). I just hit level 3 as a small tiefling warlock who is a pyromaniac. I wish the best for you and your families, hope your lockdown ends soon, so we can continue to see the campaign. In the meantime, I look forward to the next Behind the Dice episode. :)
Is your character called Nixie, perchance?
@@RobertHartleyGM Vavas actually...BUT...I will admit I loved Nixie and Deerstalker's skits, and I absolutely drew inspiration from their skits when I made Vavas!
I expected this to be dry and out of character, but it was SO much funnier being done in character and referencing all the amazing b roll! Fantastic!
I love that you continue to post endearing contents even if you're limited by quarantine. Keep up the great work, i can assure we ALL appreciate it greatly
he is the ultimate everyman, including suppressed murderous psychopathy.
Cant wait for the bob interview
I love how Greg is just so accepting at the start, just screams of pain as he's brought in and straight into "oh hello, great to be here"
THIS IS AWESOME
This is amazing
it's gotta be "Between the Two Turns", right? 😂
Also this is top notch content, can't wait for the other inteviews
Damn, that's a good one!
@@RobertHartleyGM eheh, thanks 😊 yours to use if you're still looking for a name
You could always call the show "Sir Vey Says..." and you say things at them instead of asking cause well, let's be honest, this is herding cats just one at a time instead of all at once.
I work selling phones, on the phone, in a building that's been empty for 18 months. We are still reeling from the horrors of black friday and cyber monday and the frenzied rage of angry canadians who's phones are still on cargos that can't unload at Vancouver's port.
Guyz, i love you. This made me smile. This made me laugh. This made my day.
This is excellent! Just excellent! Thank you for giving us content even in such difficult situations! Stay awesome but more importantly, stay safe! :-)
Happy to bring something to your screens!
After watching this... LOVED it by the way. My mind concocted a crazy idea for the opening of the next adventure when the current one wraps up (probably some time in 2023)
At the end of this adventure when they all finally get home and think the adventure is over. Some townspeople are less than thrilled to see our adventurers but just as they are about to be accosted by the angry mob of honeywood a huge thunder clap knocks them all to the ground.......
Greg wins the drawing wakes up on his brand new futon in honeywood. .....inside a burnt out husk of a building that use to be his shop with no memory of the drawing. His memory and the towns memory of his atrocities ... er adventures have all been wiped. Bodger is missing no one has seen Baradune in months. And Bob is passed out nude by the waters edge. Bob remembers the adventure but only as you would a bad dream. Flashes of the past hit him from time to time in moments of blinding pain. He knows he knows Greg from these flashes but Greg has no memory of him and is only concerned with how his shop and home burnt down and where did this cool futon come from?.... and why is that darn robot sheep so familiar looking?
Bodger awakes in a dungeon hanging off a wall in chains. He remembers EVERYTHING! The thunder clap the adventure and oddly enough understands better than anyone what is going on. (thought it would be a weird twist if forgetful Bodger was the key to everyone getting their memory back)
Baradune is nowhere to be found. First thing Bodger needs to do is free himself and find Baradune.
Just a dumb little idea that my mind came up with after my 1st cup of morning coffee.
Greg just porting in screaming was my favorite part. 🤣👏
That's just brilliant. I can't describe it in any other way
This is brilliant!!!! I want more of this!!!! Hahahahaha I loved the portal PTSD from Greg 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Ty guys, you always brighten my day
This is so good, can’t wait for the other party members 😄❤️
Ah yes Rob Rocking dem 1430's High tops
Middle ages never looked so good
If robots dream of electric sheep, what do electric sheep dream of?
silicon grass
I wonder if greg the garlic farmer will ever become strong enough for this grandfathers sword!
I haven't even watched the video yet and I am super excited to see new content!!! I don't care if its even any good lol
edit: watched it....loved every bit of it. Rob is nailing it!!
OMG yes!! I can’t wait for the otherinterviwes
I mean if you are genuinely looking for a title "Sir Vay says!" (Like family fortunes) Kinda works for me
I love the concept of this show. I kinda wish this is what Talks Machina was. Just the cast cosplaying as their character; awnsering questions as their character.
