For every account on your list you should:
1. Know what they do
2. Who they sell to
3. The problems they have
4. Created a POV
Then you email them with:
1. What you saw
2. What that means
3. Where their better world could be
Think about the email as a short story.
Yes! Thanks for sharing your takeaway Percy.

- frameworks > templates

Thanks for this amazing interview. That framework he shared is very unique. Gold!
And it worked well! I use his framework at my jobs, and booked meetings with companies that no one could book before.

Mike's the 🐐
The king of the 🐐
The problem is that every time one of these videos pops up for email advice.. it's companies selling to other salespeople. So they have an immediate problem. I don't see any videos of other types of software that aren't for sales teams.
I tried this framework mentioned by Mike with engineers/data leaders and got quick results.
And on my channel I interviewed sales reps selling to different buyer personas: finance, operations, marketing, engineers.
So yeah we are on the same page here. But I’m mindful about and want to have sales reps from different industries.
Not just on your channel, by the way. Seems like any cold email strategy video I find it's from a sales consultant.
I absolutely agree, most of this content is focused on selling to sales teams in software companies. Please explain how this would work selling to, for example, a German multinational manufacturer with €Billions in revenue and 25,000 employees
I want to use cold email strategies for insurance business. Does this work for prospects that don’t feel they have a problem or are in need in the first place?
So in other words, no CTA. Just an email offering advice?
Great Value in this Video! You earned yourself a sub :)
I wonder though, are all automations bad? What If I prep all the personalised follow ups in advance to each business and have them automatically send out periodically? Wouldn't that just be more efficient than if I were to send them out manually and keep track of it manually?
Lets say I send out my initial personalised mails to 90 cold lead from lead gen list 1 on Monday and they will be in my pipeline for the next 2 weeks. On Tuesday I send out another 90 cold leads. That's 180 new leads to manage a week and from my calculations it would almost take me 20hrs a week to generate the leads, create the personalised mails, launch campaign, and manage campaign and that's with a hybrid approach where follows up are automated but manual responses to any show of interest. I can't imagine how long it would take me if I were to manually do everything.
Wonder what's your opinion on this? 👀
How do you think I should go about doing research on each contact? I have access to their LinkedIn but that isn't enough info to build a solid POV.
good
Thank you!
in the first Email. Do you guys have your signature on their so they can check your website etc.? or literally just text and let them make a short reply like "sounds interesting" or "tell me more" and in your follow up add a signature or a link etc.?
im really new to cold email so if any of you have a good source where you get information like this i would highly appreciate.
Would be interested to hear his approach on a completely cold account, no context on the persona, except what you see on his LI and what. you know of the company from research.
Yeah great idea for a 2nd episode with Mike. Thanks 🙏🙏
how you can email people on scale if we have to write personalize emails to each lead
What do you mean by "scale"?
@@ElricLegloireSDR like mass emailing 500-1k a day
good question
Do an experiment and see if personalization yields more revenue.
you may also discover that multiple people can be sent similar emails with low customization.
If you do all this research why not just call them?
I have to think to myself what if all these other people are sending the same emails to the same location.
Like the ones Mike is sending?
@@ElricLegloireSDR Im saying what if hundreds of people send the same email to that location everyday its spam.
@@digbot5987 yes, but no one does that. Prospects receive a lot of emails but bad emails
If you can't get the persons personal email then sending emails are useless If its a service for a business its great but if its for selling products and not services its useless.and plus its not just few hundred you have to send out , to me its spam marketing.
We didn't talk about how we get emails, but we use tools like Apollo, Amplemarket, Cognism, Kaspr to find their business emails.
AI that he sells is not working and he is better doing emails
What do you mean?
