Today I visit Tetouan to get my translated documents and passport photos taken. I also visit the police station to see what else I require for my moroccan residency application. After a couple days of going around Martil and Tetouan I was able to see a path for me to submit my application for the residency application.

You don't need residency to open a bank account....I was able to open one with just my passport.
Yes correct. But a local dirham account I wasnt able to open until I have it.
@ankurjaswal5290 oo right right. Thing that tripped me up was that you can't withdraw dollars or transfer the MAD to a foreign bank as USD.
@@ademhuseinovicexactly and Im told the resident card is required for this.
@ankurjaswal5290 hmmm interesting. Waiting for your experiences...I'm told by other businessmen from the US/UK that it isn't possible, unless you claimed USD when entering.
Looking forward to future videos. Thanks for the interactions.
@@ademhuseinovic i will make a video on this 🙏
Moroccan bureaucracy at best
Hi Ankur,
Your video is such a breath of fresh air buddy. We want apply for the residency for my parents. It's seems very complicated. But with your experience it gives us the hope to give it a try. Hope you can give us some advise. 1st thing: Do you have to show any particular reason why you want to apply for the residency! 2nd thing: Once we went for opening the bank account they said we need to have residency card to open bank account. How do we bypass this! Is it mandatory to have a Moroccan bank account? Hope you don't mind me asking you as we go along! Thanks a million.
Good luck 😊

Welcome to Morocco 🇲🇦
Chokran Bzaf for the welcome 🇲🇦🙏
you don't really need to be a resident to live in Morocco , you can just leave for a week or son every 3 months and then come back ...Europe including UK(Gibraltar) are very close and Ryanair tickets are dirt cheap
Good content my brother 🦾
Be welcome in the north of Morocco

I always prefer to wear shorts but in government buildings I will refrain going forward.
