I just wanted to comment because I am not only blown away at the beauty and quality of your work, but the way you packaged, transported, unloaded and then finessed the pieces says a LOT of about you as a team, a company and an overall collective of people who deserve all of the success that comes to them. So inspiring.

Just an awesome bunch of furniture. The maple burl was gorgeous. And what a happy accident with the bubbles. I have had the experience of someone crying over a piece. I made a cradle for my youngest sister's firstborn more than 20 years ago. The side rails were sculpted as waves, the corners and rockers were various fish species. I inscribed a very short circular poem on the top inside rail, "The rhythm of the waves is the rhythm of the heart." It was the only time I was ever happy to make her cry. So good for the soul to create beauty.
The furniture was amazing, but the young men who made it happen were awesome. Moving, lifting and assembling were perfect. Packaging and moving shows a level of understanding for the client top notch. Quality of the craftsmanship was at the next level. Always inspired by great people making amazing things. This didn’t disappoint.
There are no words to describe how beautiful these pieces are. Masterpieces! Each piece is handled with care.
I’m lost for words. The most stunning art I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. You should be so proud of yourself and everyone else who worked on this project. 120k doesn’t seem to be enough.

Yes .. it's common to think a job was underpriced, but here? It certainly appears so. Consider the truly unique artistry of Mother Nature, which when joint- venturing w Black Forest's talents, results in Masterpiece outputs. I used to price jobs .. appreciating psychological barriers embedded in price points etc. But I admit I don't know the custom furniture biz. Maybe breaking thru $100K was a price-monument. However in the final analysis I feel under and just short of $195K reflects more accurately the Museum quality of BF'S efforts, both material as well as BF'S imagination. OMG .. your imagination 'input-factor' is simply stunning .. and truly undervalued, Gentlemen. Kudos, from a former homebuilder on The Main Line of Phila.
I'd be crying too if they delivered $120,000 worth of furniture to my God damn house because I'd be plotting how to kill my fucking wife if I found out she spent that much money on furniture! I'm not even going to go into details about what that money could be spent on instead of fucking furniture! The only way I would pay $120,000 for furniture as if it was a dining room table of stretched dried assholes from all the politicians in Washington DC

I don't know about the client shedding a tear but I certainly got a little emotional over this furniture package. The whole package was stunning to say the least, you should all be proud of yourselves. The workmanship is superb, the design top notch. I appreciate the way you respect and enhance the beauty of the timber. This is the collectibles of modern furniture. The “termite tunnel” effect by the rising air bubbles is killer!
that table is unbelievably beautiful. The legs add to the natural effect. It almost looks like a part of a landscape The bubbles in the console make the it so unique and quite stunning. She was correct in saying that it looks like a piece of the ocean has been installed in that room. All of it is magnificent. The furniture didn't stop coming and quite honestly, although it is all way out of my price range, I think it was quite a bargain for all that quality and quantity of artwork

I can’t lie! I agree with you on that💯💯💯& from the moment I saw the interior I thought that same exact thing; the interior does not do that furniture justice…with the exception of the bear mounted on the wall of course (I kinda have a thing for bears!) LOL

This is my first time viewing your channel and I'm blown away by your work!!! Everything about it from concept to delivery to customer service ... AMAZING!!!
I would say its pretty good value too. The delivery and installation itself is easily valued at 7-10k (would not be surprised if more). I count at least 10 crew members and what looks like multiple deliveries on a full sized truck.

I am a commercial artist, but I also do upholstery so that way I have the best of both worlds, the art-design aspect and the upholstery aspect. I love your furniture!!! Just amazing!

The bubbles are great! It looks like the wood settled to the bottom of a lake, and the bubbles are a natural occurrence. I'd have to call that piece "Frozen In Time". Nice job guys!

I really like the way you rolled with the bubbles on the transition table. Most other epoxy artisans would have totally freaked. Instead, you produced the most unique pour table I've ever seen.
We did worry at first but then we realized how cool it looked and asked our client what she thought and luckily she also loved it!
@@BlackForestWoodCo As soon as I saw the bubbles frozen up in that epoxy like that, I thought it would be awesome to do something similar with an aquatic themed pour. Like a thick epoxy block designed to be a table top art piece.. or a really tall, corner sitting wood and epoxy "fish tank" with fish, octopus, plants, coral and bubbles! Not even sure how you'd pull it off but it could look really cool!
What gorgeous furniture! No wonder the lady cried. The cupboard in the dining room was the top of the mountain in furniture. Everything else was excellent too. The bubble table is a fun beauty. I would have said it was top but the cabinet is truely the best. I'm no t guessing, my dad was a top notch designer of furniture when he could make it. He never became a big name at it. To many irons in the fire. He taught me what to look for in good furniture. Your company has it. Don't ever let down your standards.

By far my favorite aspect of this furniture package is ALL OF IT!! The satin finish that is over all of it and is not on the wood then a different finish on the resin like some pieces I have seen before. Just one single beautiful finish all throughout is what makes it for me. Killer job everybody!!

I have to admit I was kind of surprised at how MUCH furniture you delivered for just $100K ! I’m used to making 3-4 pieces per year and have had some orders sitting with deposit for 5-6 years. My weakness is that I can only work alone. I dislike the feeling of having another person in the same room with me…I know it’s not reasonable but I begin to panic. My weirdness aside, your customer can be comfortable knowing that very few bespoke designers or ‘good’ furniture makers would even consider making that much furniture for that price! You made some really nice stuff AND gave your customer an absolute BARGAIN! Out of my shop she would have waited 3 years for all that and paid at least six times the price. I finally had to increase my prices to slow the number of orders coming in. 30 years ago I just got so busy that I thought I would burn out..so I slowed down and raised prices and built my dream shop. By the way, if you want to get to the next level in resin…build a vacuum room with deep tone sonic wave vibration to ‘knock loose’ the bubbles. This will radically change the outcomes that you make. For a $35k investment you can move your resin pours to the absolute next level.
Stunning work! You really gave that customer some amazing value for the price! I can’t imagine how everyone got paid from that but what a great job!
I'm guessing that's why you missed out on the job, (jobs) because of time it takes you to produce, and your pricing, just so you can 'keep up'. Businesses don't grow without being able to delegate to fellow employees. How do you know you will be around 3 to 4 years from now? Have you put the money aside to reimburse your clients if you are not able to 'deliver'? Just sayin'
