This is a great video and great project. Thanks for taking us all along, through your videos and your commentary. I can't describe the desk in simple sentences. It is gorgeous. The way you describe what the crews were doing while building it and piecing it together made for an enjoyable video. When I watch you interacting with your father is great. I envy that. My dad passed away this past June 2023. He was an incredible carpenter. He was a jack of all trades but a master of none. Make sure you can do as much with your dad as much as you can. You both compliment each other. Congrats again!!

You guys do great work. I used to be a supervisor at a cabinet shop and our main production was drawer boxes. We used to use hot glue and staples on the bottom side of of drawers. Works great with the expansion and contraction of the wood. Keep up the awesome job you're doing. Love your videos.

BFWC did again - I thought I had seen my favorite piece of furniture and then you and your crew create this wonderful desk. I would be happy with just the scraps from this piece. You say you bond with an inanimate object, but the wood was alive and lives again in the art you create. Stay safe and I wasn't kidding about the scraps if you feel like giving something away (LOL).

this. i was impressed with the desk just as a build even if it isnt my style. and then the owners house just kept getting more and more uninspiring as it went on. Stock standard, i have money. and my house tells you this type vibe. Ohh and hey i hunt for the trophy. Average human at best syndrome. Cool desk though.

That is an absolutely stunning piece of functional art. Easily the nicest work I’ve observed you guys making thus far. I only wish the owner would have cleared out the collection of dead animals that he has slaughtered before you filmed. It made me nauseous to look at them.

@@nolanortega5084 oh it’s not because I dislike hunting or even the practice of taxidermy. I just had a fear of taxidermy when I was younger, so it still unnerves me to this day. My grandfathers office was similar to this one, I just would rarely go in 😂

The customer care has questionable taste in decoration, however excellent taste in desks. I really can’t see the pleasure of having a room littered with a carcasses of dead animals as so cold decoration, particularly so if he hunted and shot them himself, totally unnecessary. That said I would reiterate that the desk is an absolute masterpiece and I would love one like it myself.
Like for the table dislike the mass murdering of defenseless animals
