- In this video, I bring to you the evolution of Sub-Zero's iconic Ice Clone, also known as Ice Statue, from its first appearance in MK 3 (1995) until MK11. I look at the elements of gameplay and storyline to bring to you the development of this influential character in the last few years.

The fact that they removed the Ice Clone after so long of it being in Sub-Zeros history is honestly surprising. Like, even MK vs DC had it and there it was a counter.
I just hope they don’t remove raiden’s raging bumble day in the next game it’s like his most iconic move!

The ice clone is really annoying to play against. It's iconic but it's arguably too strong. Glad it's gone.
Sub Zero siempre fue el preferido del público en general, hasta lo consideraban el mejor personaje. Fue el creador Ed Boon que situó a Scorpion para tener más visibilidad ya que era su favorito.
Lo impresionante es que scorpion y sub-zero son los mejores en la saga mortal kombot

MK Sub-Zero has the best effects of ice that I've already seen in a fight game
I like the fact that in injust2, his clone will some times spawn a polor bear, this means that yes, he can still become a polor bear and rip you a part in some way, just hasn't been added into mk yet... maybe mkXII

It's crazy that the game can catch every little pose at the time of the freezing.
It's ashame it wasn't in MK11, it feels like taking away a good tradition.
It actually bothers me that both his ice clones and the opponents that hit them defy gravity if created mid air

@@LightDante not a failure just disappointing since 9 set up a great story, X gave us dope mechanics, and then 11 just didn't really add much other than the most boring characters ever. It was a fun game but 12 needs to step it up and continue what 9 started.

Notice how only Kuai Liang had an ice clone, meaning Bi Han is weaker
You have to think that Bi han appears as sub zero just in MK1(and mythologies), in that game, the technological limitations didn’t allow making a lot of creative “habilities”.
But in the lore I’m sure he could have a lot of amazing habilities with ice.

@@schokoladereee Bi-han is also able to use all of Kuai Liang moves in the N64 version of MK Trilogy. Kuai Liang is no weakling but he's definitely not stronger than Sub-Zero Bi-han.

Sub Zero always been my favorite in MK but was never a fan of the Ice clone. I could never get the timing down to use it. I was always a bigger fan of the parry
