@@DingDong-nc9rx No she isn't. They retconed her in MK11 to be like this. In the original verson and the reboot of MK 2011, Sindel was a good person. She killed herself out of fear of Shao Kahn. But Shao Kahn discovered that Sindel reincarnated on Earthrealm, so he was given permission to go their and reclaim his wife. Doing this, he corrupted her, causing her to go evil. At the end of MK3, Shao Kahn loses to Liu Kang and all the souls he stole are returned to the Earthrealmers. Sindel was able to break Shao Kahn's influence over her. She became a good person all throughout the series after MK3.

As an MK fan for 30 years the moment Fire God Liu Kang emerged gave me all the gooood feeels. He's not even my favorite character , it was just rewarding to see that moment pay off

Duch disappointment in his voice when he says "you have chosen to defy peace", then comes retribution "then you have chosen war with a GOD".
This is singlehandedly the most badass line Liu Kang spoken, basically"i gave you a choice, you chose WRONG!". Like thats perfect voice acting. Also it shows the duality in his character, on one side he is caring and nurturing but if you dare cross him... better be prepared to face the consequences. In some sense i feel he tried to mimic the christian god.

But it WILL be different. Liu Kang will let people make their own decisions, but if it defies peace across different realms he'll put an end to it. Kronika forced war, Liu Kang will ensure peace. War was never the problem, it was conquest and people forcing their will on other realms.

@@serdelek8608 if you paid attention in ending of 11 you would know that the KEEPER of TIME used the hourglass and the crown to set the universe back to the dawn of time and was going to remake it all from the beginning however they saw fit. If you also saw the sequel you would know that Liu Kang needed the crown in order to utilize the hourglass and remake the universe, so he sent 3 chosen warriors back in his timeline so that they could create an outcome where the crown still exists. The fact that in this timeline Liu Kang doesn't exist and Kung Lao is instead chosen to represent Earth Realm should be enough to convince you that Liu Kang could literally change whatever he wanted about the world.

I think he said somewhere that he gave up his thunder power to give to young Raiden. I personally hate how they brought Raiden back. He shouldn’t have returned unless he was a DLC because his story was done properly.

This is an entirely new timeline, where liu kang’s and raiden’s roles have swapped and many other significant origins of the characters have completely changed. Ed boon confirmed that the Fire god liu kang from mk11 and the one from mk1 (2023) aren’t the same people.

It may be arguing semantics but I would say there is a difference between being “A God of fire” and being “The God of Fire”
For example Liu Kang was Champion of Earthrelm until he died then it was King Lao then I think Johnny Cage until Cassie Cage had it… but during the time rift saga Liu Kang and Kung Lao were very much alive and well while Cassie was alive.
At which point Earthrelm technically had 3 champions at once.

They missed such a huge opportunity in Mk1, for one it makes absolutely no sense for a random Shaolin Monk surrounded by Kung Lao's to be named Raiden, they should have had Raiden in Mk1 be introduced with a regular name alongside Kung Lao, fans would immediately assume Kung Lao is playing the part of Liu Kang, and that this new guy is playing the part of Kung Lao, he would immediately be accepted as a brand new character, but then all of a sudden he goes through Liu Kang's training with Johnny Cage and the others, and win's out over everyone, then Liu Kang hands him the Raiden Medallion and he goes "I will take the name Raiden"... But no he's just named Raiden for absolutely no reason, ruining any and all mystery to the character and we know exactly what was going to happen from the second he was introduced. Just all around a completely missed opportunity by yet another game company who just doesn't care anymore.
