I owned a 69 Z/28 same color with black interior . It was called fathom green , at night it did look like a black car .
This Z/28 is not factory correct, the only 1969 Z/28s that came with a black front grill were the RS Z/28s with the hideaway headlights all none RS Z/28s came with urgent silver front grills !
Finally, a beautiful car with correct looking wheels that look awesome, and not those aftermarket tall ghetto wheels that look like crapola on old muscle cars.
Good job! đ

Let The Truth set you free.
I'm breathless, this is the Holy Grail of performance muscle cars, I still remember the first Z that came to the Chevrolet dealership in Lakeland,FL, I went to church and the dealership was right across the street, I was 15 at the time and was car çrazy, making a long story short I crossed the street to see the first one in town, it was identical to this one, I never got to drive one thanks for listening,
if it was in 67 they didn't have the side lights
What a beauty. I love how it sits so proud.
my friend ordered one with 2 fours, 4 wheel discs and optional cam- waited 3 months got tired of waiting then bought a nova ss 396 375 hp off the lot- still has it today
No passenger outside mirror ? Great looking Camaro ! Damn itâs so nice. What a dream car to have and own and drive from time to time.
never knew that back seat folded down and about the bumpers
Gourgeus car i Was 18 years in 1970 and this camaro Was a dream to own as a kid in the air force wonderfull car đ€ đ cool car color stunning thank you Jay grams đ€© president of volo auto museum from tom your friend always,
Love it and wish it was mine ! My dream car.
@@travisbickle5984 so would i she is so stunning
I love 1969 Camaro's, I had one once a pond a time, just starting the engine was a beautiful sound, stick, shark gills, an on, an on, an on. I still dream of getting another one, someday. Amazing video. Thank You Sir.đ
That's a really sharp looking Camaro, and really love the dark green with white stripes paint scheme..
I graduated High School in 1973. Someone I knew 1 year older had a Blue Z28 and would occasionally drive it to school. Their parking lot was Circular and in front of the Cafeteria so at lunch, students would eat and mingle in front and the Students Cars would drive by.
What a beauty. It sits so proud.
A nice car , great car to drive around town to rallies and sat nights !
Beautiful classic.đđ
Awesome Z Jay!!!! Great color too. Love that chambered exhaust, theres nothing like that sound of a 69! Gobs of high revving!
sorry dude, that's not a "chambered exhaust"
WOW absolutely phenomenal đđđđđđđđđđ gorgeous 100%
All 69 Zs came with an argent silver grill, not black. Jay should point these things out but I know he can' be an expert on every car.
Mr Grams has by his own admission been doing this all his l
My phone is got a mind of it's own, to get back to what I was saying, Mr Grams by his own admission has been doing this all his adult life, he sees countless of Camaros and alot of them were Zs, he should know these cars inside out, why he sometimes portrayes this non Z/28s as the real deal is bafflingly, he truly might not know the cars aren't the real deal, I like Jay alot I hope he doesn't take offense to this.
@@sheldonrobertson8670 Is it a Z28? Itemize what's wrong in his description.
I always forward to the car running first!
that is a Beautiful ride!!!
Love the color

@ 10:50 You invented the street take over
U got anything 4 working man
gill should be silver in the center ,All Z28s would have silver center of grill only RS-Z28's would be black and all other 69' Camaro's would be black
Its a victim of sercumstance the SCCA rules were 305 cubic inches or less ,a L79 327 will put the hurt on that bored out 283 ,it doesn't make any torque lol ,all 69 Z/28 cars got rear bumper guards
Was hoping this was a DZ-302
It is a DZ-302
@@FaithfulServant316 The DZ 302 I'm looking for should have two 4 barrel carbs.
I think he means with the cross ram duel 4 barrel carbs.
@@christolbert4628 Cross ram duel carb set up was a over the counter option which was never installed at the factory !
@@johnpena9165 same with headers. Came in the trunk.
