@@haleyezelleliterally just went through this. If you need emergency dental work you don’t go to the dental office you go to the er. It depends on the area but I got into a fight with my dad at 17 and we called the dentist and they said get to the er. Of course the er I went too had no emergency dental doctor. But they shipped me to a hospital that did.
@@haleyezellemy teeth ended up dying because of the wait had to get my teeth shaved and caps. It took a half hour to get to the first hospital with teeth shoved backwards into the roof of my mouth. Then it took 1:30 minutes to get to the hospital that could treat me.

I had to wait until I was in the ambulance going to the other hospital at that point I asked if they had anything for pain and they gave me fentanyl my girlfriend at the time was riding with me and I looked at her when the fentanyl kicked in and I was like dude I’m so fucked up right now I wish I didn’t ask for that. I was drooling the guy was laughing because i told him I could feel the fentanyl traveling through my vein to my heart. Shit was ice cold. At that point I knew I had to stay away from that shit because I liked it too much. I delt with the pain the rest of the night other than Novocain so he could pop my teeth back in place. I was not taking that shit again tho that’s dangerous asf even if it’s controlled by a medical personnel. I could totally see some guy thinking that wasn’t bad and wanting to try it on his own.
@andrewbryce4928 well I've had my tooth knocked out twice and all hospitals try do is drug you up and over charge you. I went to the dentist and all is good, and every state and providence is different! So different rules and regulations. I'm glad though everything went well for you in the end, emergency dental is not fun and I can attest for that

My tooth was infected and the pain was horrible, I had to take pills for it
And guess when the pain occured
Friday, 1 hour after the dentist closed
And on weekends they aren't open..

Yes, when I was a kid, we were wrestling and I hit a door facing with my face and my front perm. Tooth was knocked out. We found it, rinsed
it off and I begged my Mom to put it back into the socket !. Both parents thought it was a bad idea. Dad was sure I would choke on it in my sleep.It was tender and the gums were dark and swollen. Dad checked on me several times in the night.
Back then, no dentists on Fri. Night..... Monday, the dentist said if the root was not broken it's ok. Over 50 yrs. later ,it's alive in my mouth. LATER ,An orthodontist couldn't move it because of the dense bone that formed around the repair.
Nowadays they say keep it warm and moist in saliva or tepid milk and get to a Dentist with it.

The only reason it did not fall out of my mouth was because the wire was holding it in place. The wire was completely bent ironically in the shape of a knuckle. It was shitty. I feel that girls pain I've been poor for a while and it's hard to pay for new tooth or anything else to fix even a broken tooth. Been walking around just wondering what it'd be like to smile at people happily.
If you look for PMS Presbyterian medical services its a government funded facility they give you a huge discount depending on how much you make a year so you can have mental, medical and dental for a low cost some services are no more than 50 dollars and they have no right to turn you away if you can’t pay they also do payment plans to help those who can’t afford to pay 50 even if you pay 💲5 every week they will gladly take it
You can try making fake teeth with molding plastic beads. A lot of people use it to replace missing and or chipped teeth.
If you're American, every state has a Medicaid system for low-income people. I live in Maine and we have MaineCare, but every state calls theirs something different. I highly suggest looking into it, it might not be the best but it's better than nothing. In my state our Medicade covers dental and vision care (though not glasses annoyingly enough)
Sometimes you can go to a dental school and get it fixed at a fraction of the cost. Yeah repairing teeth isn’t cheap, spent 1500$ last year fixing all my problems. I won’t be going 15 years without seeing a dentist ever again hopefully.

I heard and felt the gums rip from the pressure and it was loose and hurt so badly. Luckily after about 2 months, it healed up and never fell out. I thank my lucky stars that I didn't lose my tooth that way. I haven't sat on top of slides since that day🤢😷
