Pro tip: to make this seamless, add that utility to your startup items. That way, as soon as you login to your Mac, the utility will automatically open.

Nick you saved my ass with this Video on Sat night. I was doing a corporate holiday party at a big hotel and I got the " no audio driver" on my Pioneer DDJ1000SRT. I was early as I always try to be, and so I searched the net and your video came up, ( I follow you so I new it would be good info) I used this advice and all worked perfectly after that. After about 4 months of using out of nowhere the rev 7 did this to me even with the firmware up to date. So its still happening but for some reason I haven't gotten the no audio drivers message since using the utility feature. We had the same idea so happy to come across this video

Thank Bro. This worked for my DDJ FLX10. Utility showed me it was set to Rekordbox but I use Serato. I was going nuts over this thing not playing.

I did today and you don't need to turn off, justo do the next step. I was on a gig with other dj playing the Rev7 and can't do this at the moment, so I tried disconnect and open setting utility and connect again: Worked.

Thanks Nick for the info, this video worked perfectly with my MacBook. However, when I use my Mac Mini the issue happens every time I reconnect my Rev 7. My Mac Mini is running Ventura.

So this is a similar problem with the 1000Srt after an update about a month ago, so I opened the utility up and kept it in the dock(Mac) and then right clicked under options I chose Open at Login so that it would connect automatically like its supposed to.

I had this issue but my concern is that again after swapping out for another controller the Auto Loop button or another button on the left deck isn't working. Do you know what could be causing that 🤔

hey nick how are u . can u help me how do I add some space like for second an half time before the track begins. because on my controller sometimes if I reverse with the jog wheel it grabs the track before it and sometimes Freeze's so thats why I ask is if I have like a hundred mp3 tracks how do I add like second an half time so when I reverse it does not catch the song before and get stuck. plz get back to me .
Same thing happened when I got my srt1000 and it was my Mac security that was blocking it from connecting so had to go to my settings then privacy and then allow the pioneer ddj srt1000 to connect.

I did this but still ain’t getting any sound. Any idea of what else it could be? I just bought it brand new so I don’t know if I’m just not setting it up right or what. I’ve watched several CZcams videos but can’t seem to find out why I’m not getting any sound.

Guys my wave forms are showing, getting volume levels on serato screen on computer. When I scratch on instant scratch I hear it on the speakers and get levels but then go back to serato and no level from the mixer. not sure if it's a software or hardware issue. Anyone have this problem?

What do u do if the screen is completely black with no text ? My left deck screen stopped displaying and the unit is less the 24 hours old 😞
Had the same issue on my M1 Pro 16" Macbook Pro. All I did was install everything as normal and rebooted the laptop, never had that issue ever again.

Hello 🙋🏻♂️ yes, I've also noticed that. But my problem is that I have to do it over and over again, even when the controller is on and our Serato is connected. I have to open the setting and then the screen is on, but it's really annoying 🤦🏿♂️
