praying the day Puma does a 4 mm Nitro shoe
40 km in it here in Germany. I like it, and it's an improvement from the last version in upper, and midsole. From the last version, I think it's more stable and cushioned and the plate repositioning and better forefoot geometry makes for a better ride.
The people who are complaining that it went to 10 mm drop need to work on their running. That's completely inconsequential. 🙂
10mm drops are archaic
Came to hear what dad had to say ... did not pay attention to him ... was watching this wonderful little girl 🙂
Is it noticeable less stable then the Velocity Nitro 3 ?
I overpronate, but the Velocity Nitro 3, with 120km , has been awesome for me so far . Last version I would overpronate so much that the middlesole twisted in the middle and made the shoes unusable after 50km .
For now, great job for Puma with the updated Velocity Nitro 3 ! Now I'm curious about this Deviate ...
Thanks.
Do they still run small? The diviate nitro 2 was short.
The videos I’ve seen of this from Puma’s product reps say this is the same foam as the prior version. Nitro elite is the PEBA foam and nitro is the supercritical TPEE
Does this now move to close to the Velocity3 to justify having both in your rotation?
I appreciate that Puma has yet to make their neutral shoes midsole widths incredibly wide like all the other brands who are chasing Hoka
"Snug and lower volume"
Come on puma. Make shoes that can fit more people. They get shoes and you get money, it's a win win
Seriously. The Magnify 2 is the first shoe that has ever given me a blister on my big toe for this reason. DN2 and Fast-R didn't give me problems but they could all be a bit wider in the toe area
How's the heel (cushioning, heel padding, heel bottom, heel collar)? is it rigged? is it heavy? is this better than Saucony (Endorphin Speed 4), Adidas (Boston 12, SuperNova Rise/Prima, SL2)?
Ant good for problem with a stiff big toe?
Which is more comparable to Boston 12? Deviate Nitro 2 or 3?
Does anyone have both the DN3 and Superblast V2 and able to share which one they prefer? I am aware the former is plated and the latter isn't so may not be in the same "category" but am torn between these two offerings. FWIW I have both the DN2 and Superblast V1 and LOVE both.
Is there a carbon plate shoe for stability runners?
Wasn’t the main complaint about v2 (and all Puma’s) is it was too narrow? So they made it even more narrow? Not sure what they’re thinking on that one
Didn't have issues with DN2 or DN2 elite width. The latter was one of the more accommodating racers. Hoka and Adidas on the other hand...
Aw what a cute lil’ doll….
It's disappointing that Puma has gimped the Deviate with a higher drop. I will stock up on the DN2 and skip this update. Hopefully, if sales of the DN3 prove weak Puma will get the message and give us what we want.
I cannot focus on the shoes at all😅
It takes a few watches but we get there

10mm drop makes this a no for me. Just a hugely unnecessary change.
The 2nd one was above 8.
It's completely inconsequential. Learn to run. It won't matter then.🤷🏻
fr tired of 10mm shit
@davidlynch9048 literally 10mm is made for people that didn't develop a proper technique, good projection💀 anyone that runs from middle to forefoot will have more cushion the less drop there is because not heel striking to shit
@@pisderata which is basically the vast majority of top runners lmao
The thing I didn't like about the Velocity Nitro 2 was the mushiness/instability in the heel. So this Deviate Nitro 3 is an absolute no for me!!
kawaiiiiiiiii
