A good learning experience in regards to salvage titles and rust repairs. Even if you don’t want to do this again in the future you now know the ins and outs. 👍
The business you are in can be very profitable. But not only willing to put the time in and energy, you really gotta know your shit. I tried flipping older trucks 15yrs ago then just before I lost my ass I realized don't really like people. I fuckin had weird guys calling me just wanted to tell me they used to have one just like it lol. But things are different now. Nobody or age can afford 60k-100k new truck's. but everyone still needs trucks for work. So 10k-20k for a clean older pickups maybe in the near future
I absolutely see older trucks in good shape going for 10 to 20k. It's already happening. Like you said new trucks are soooooo expensive now, people aren't willing or just plain aren't able to buy them. I see a ton of people with truck payments that are more than my mortgage, some even double my mortgage and that's just absolutely insane to me.
@@MohawkMotors Honestly from what I've seen how you go thru these pickups and the time you invest while knowing every nut and bolt No reason why you shouldn't be asking at least 2-3k higher then the used car lots. Even with a salvaged title. I'm sure someone smart enough to realize they aren't looking at some polished up shit-box. But know that a professional who's very familiar with that truck has personally gone thru and replaced anything needed fixed with OEM parts. It's a rare privilege being able to trust knowing they are getting a deal. You can also do what I did, had my wife help by shaking her ass and do some of the talking She made it harder for them to wanna say no or look cheap.lol
