Best bet to diagnose is get yours up on jack stands then spin the wheels while your under it and see if you can find what's making the noise

Going on 3 years now and now problems so far. No corrosion on the battery either, the way I have it positioned is covered by the rear panel of the lid and I really don't pull the trailer in the rain much at all.

They're advertised as 30 spline because the have 2 blind splines. (missing splines)

I'm not popular enough, it's nearly impossible for me to get 4 friends together at the same time.

No I don't need the truck to tell me if the coolant is low, but I don't like the low coolant light coming on and I prefer not to have wire jumpers and stuff like that on my vehicles. It wasn't that expensive or difficult to just do the proper repair. Plus I still have the secondary warning that should something crazy happen like a coolant hose burst or a piece of debris cut one and drain the coolant nearly instantly, I'll know about it before the engine even starts to overheat.

I don't know the part number, it's a factory transfer case adapter for a 2002 Silverad0 2500HD.

Yes you need battery + to the battery + wire and ignition + to the ignition + wire.

They're much easier to get back in. you don't need to line it up any specific way, just poke the end in, get the splines lined up, then give it a quick firm push in and it should snap into place.

Flex plate back, 4L80 transmission with torque converter, factory transmission to transfer adapter from 2000 to 2006 silverado 2500HD 4x4, np208 transfer case with 32 spline input, factory crossmember and transmission mount.

Hello, so in your application, an analog to digital signal adapter would probably be the easiest solution. There are lot's of companies making them now. Here's one I found really easily with a google search. www.walterseandp.com/product-page/np208-electronic-vss-conversion-kit-r2

That's a perfect way to do it! If you got the denali cheap enough you can probably get most of your money back selling the stuff you don't need. I would recommend holding off on selling things until you have your swap complete though, would be a bummer to accidentally sell something you end up needing.

To do a V6 to V8 conversion with a 4l80 swap also I would charge between 11 and 13 thousand depending on which V8 you wanted.

yes, all you would need to do is pull the lower ducting and climate control housing out of a truck that originally had a console and rear seat, like an extended cab or crew cab truck.

I'm near Carlisle PA. 4.3 to 6.0 conversion without you helping would be around $10,000. If you wanted to stick around and help it would be around $12,000

Use a factory adapter from the 4l80. One from a 99 to 06 silverado 2500HD will work to look it up by make and model.

If you can get the 5.3 with the harness, PCM, and accessories from a 99 to 02 truck it's pretty much just plug and play. All you have to do is get the PCM reprogrammed to the Truck VIN. Or delete VATS out of the pcm all together.

If you get the same year range engine as the truck you're putting it into, 99 to 02, 03 to 05, 06 and 07 classic, it's pretty much plug and play.

It's already on it. it doesn't come off unless you pry it off with a screwdriver or something.

I think the thing that deterred buyers is not having a drivetrain. Fortunately, I've got plenty of drivetrains.

Man when you plan a build you plan BIG Colin!! I'm actually pretty confident I'm going to put the duramax into the CUCV and do a really nice restomod on it. Same kind of level as I'm doing on the single cab right now, strip it down to the frame, get the duramax to 100%, get the allison to 100% and converted to 6 speed, disc brakes front and rear, and then get the body work done as well. But I want to keep it very utilitarian/military, crank windows, flat camoflauge paint, Military bumpers, a hidden winch, onboard air, toolbox in the bed, brake upgrade front and rear. The blazer my first thoughts are 6.0, 4l80, fix the rockers and try to match the existing paint/patina as best I can, and very factory interior, it already has power windows and locks. Kind of a drivetrain modernization but otherwise keep it very original. The wheelbase on them is so short and the frame makes me nervous about pulling trailers of any significant size. I've seen too many of them bent from relatively low tongue weight and hitting a bump or railroad tracks. Plus it would be a freaking awesome rig to be able to take the top off and cruise to the river or the beach in the summer. Don't worry, no lambo doors.

@@MohawkMotors Can't argue your plans with the CUCV, that does sound pretty sweet. You'll never go wrong turning it into a haul/work truck. I'm excited to see the build, for sure. I forgot most, (maybe all) those blazers came with power windows. I think they also came with a power rear window too. (although I know some were manual) The rockers on the old square bodies are SUPER easy to replace. So easy, that I taught myself how to do my first set, and there was NOTHING left on that tuck! I had a friend that had a blazer, and you wouldn't believe what he hauled with that thing! The body rotted off, so he put a regular cab on it, and a custom shortbed step side. I've never been a fan of the step sides, but it worked. Actually, come to think of it, he had a 6.2 diesel in it that he put 6.5 heads and intake on and ran it with the turbo. As much as I want to see the Blazer project, I am super interested in the CUCV. I've never had a Duramax, and know nothing about them, so I'm excited to learn. Also, this making the Allison a 6 speed, I have GOT to see that! Awesome video, as always bud. Thanks for taking all that time to film and put the video together for us. It looked like you had a blast. AND, still made a profit! LOL. What a score!
