after seeing much debate over where the gen 2 CRV fuel filter is, it was easier to just record a video on where it's located this is on my RD4 2002 CRV.
2008 crv , if you slant the rear seat forward, you will see a square piece of carpet, lift that up,then there's a round piece of sheet metal, remove the 4 screws and there is your fuel pump and filter, while your in there might as well replace fuel pump, it's easy, wish American cars did the same thing😅.
Which engine do you have in yours? I have a 2002 EUDM model with the K20A4 and my car definitely does not have the filter where yours is. So I think it's either engine dependant or market dependant
I have a 2002 with a K24A1 (in the US) and the fuel filter is integrated into the fuel pump assembly. While there is a access panel under the rear seat its still far more costly than a canister filter would be. Its hard to find but you can buy just the part of the assembly that is the filter but its still not real cheap.
@@kd4dhk 3 years ago I see but I had the same question there, as my 2004 K24A1 CR-V is the EX USA model, I was wondering if mine was different to the video one.
@@AgentAle47 I would guess its like mine. It's pretty easy to lift the back seat up and, if there's an access panel with wiring going through it, congrats. Your fuel filter costs about $100.
The CRV maintenance schedule doesn't say fuel filter need replaced ? If its inside the fuel tanker just think it only replaced when the fuel pump breaks, although in the Civic schedule it did say replace at regular interval.
@@rickstechrepairs I live in America & being told it’s non serviceable, dealership only When you have time can you reply with item # to this part ? Thank you
This is a fuel filter on my region of crv, i have physically removed it, brought another one from the local parts store and have installed the replacement filter
@@rickstechrepairs don't mean to correct you but my crv got that something that you're calling the fuel filter and i can assure you it isn't bro .....the fuel filter is i the fuel tank incorporated with the pump..
My 2004 doesn't have one but you can get to fuel pump from under driver side back seat under the carpet 3 bolt to the access cover .a lot better than dropping tank to get to

@@rickstechrepairs I appreciate that & believe that you are correct but I'm pretty sure mine does have this component. However I've been wrong plenty! I have an 04. And wouldn't you know it, there are two parts that are nearly identical to pass for the filter! I'd like to get the right one. So between the corrosion and that flashlight that grazes over both the parts .... I'm stumped.
fuel filter is under the bonnet at the back on top very easy to access and replace as its on top with manual primer alongside it
On the gen 1 CRV it was there, or atleast the Australian model had it there
Thank you
Dude ive been looking for the fucker for forever lol. Thanks
Hope it's there for you :) some models/regions don't have it
Nice job Hojo 👍

I was told yesterday, by the parts store that there wasn't a fuel Filter-and the the fuel pump was permanently affixed within the Gas Tank. GEEEESSSS!

Definitely not the fuel filter. That’s for the EVAP. Dismantle in tank pump for correct location.
