Reset digital combination Stack-On 24 Gun Safe

This shows how to reset the digital combination for the keypad for a Stack-On 24 gun safe. I looked and could not find the instructions and eventually called Stack-On. It was quick and so I figured that I would put something together to help others.

Thanks for posting this. I kept trying it and trying it with no success. After watching your video I was able to determine I was actually doing it correct but it was not working. I installed a fresh battery and problem solved. Some times its helpful to know you're doing it right

Thank you for posting this video. I just purchased the safe today from BJ's. The manual says to press "#" after you enter a new code. You are a life saver!

The instructions included with this safe are inconsistent and obscure. The customer service is even more confusing. Bought mine today at BJ's after being on the phone for hours with Stack On I now have to wait for new parts to come in for a brand new safe. I spent hours on the phone with them and no one was able to tell me what this video provided in under 2 minutes.

Thanks for posting. After putting in the new code, the manual says to press the “#” key. After multiple failed attempts using this method, I went to CZcams and found your video. Worked like a charm the FIRST TIME.

I have small stackable pistol gun case and to eliminate the "beep" sound I do this: There are 4 sets of numbers on the front of my case and I press the "1" number and then go to diagonal corner and press those numbers at same time and the beep will stop

Plugged in new battery worked for awhile. Clicked the reset button once now the keypad wont respond at all!? Beeps when i plug battery in thats it any helps is super appreciated rn

Mine wouldn't open so I tried this, no joy. Turns out the battery was low enough that the buttons still lit up but it wouldn't open.
Battery read 8 volts.
New battery fixed it up.
Now reset procedure works perfect.

FYI EVERYONE I tried this and it didn’t work because the battery was low and I switched it with a rechargeable one. Rechargeable batteries won’t work you need a Duracell type. One I changed it to a non rechargeable it worked. So the method works just make sure you aren’t using a rechargeable battery.

One number that is within our entry code, the last number, is "dead". It doesn't light up or do anything when it is pushed and therefore we are unable to get into the safe. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks!

My code quit working. Reset it didn't work. Changed the battery and it worked. So if this doesn't work, change the battery.

Stock -on is garbage ( payed $500 for it in BJ,s ) from day one couldn’t set up code (tried every possible way ) used it manually locking with key now 4 mouth latter completely broke won’t lock at all .👎👎👎
