- This video shows how to reprogram your electronic keypad on your Stack On Elite Gun Safe. I replaced all electronics following a problem and figured I would make a quick video of this part for those who only need to the reprogram the code/pin on a safe.

This was literally the only video on youtube to get it right with this model safe. Every single one I watched was wrong. For anyone who purchased their safe from Tractor supply and you have the Cannon 64 safe just know that your initial code to open is NOT 1-2-3-4-5-6.... It is 1-5-9-# in order to open for the first time... Then follow this great video on how to make your own personal code for your safe.
Damn. This just helped me a lot. So when programming the first time use the numbers u want followed by the * button. Then after it beeps do it again followed by the # symbol this time. I actually didn’t notice this until I watched this video. And watched what ur fingers were doing. Thanks man 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

My fiance got a Sentinel SVS gun safe 2 years ago, never opened it until now and I can't find the manual for it 😣. I tried calling Academy where my daughter bought it from and they said I can go online and print out a manual but I couldn't even get that to come up.....Help
I dont have any experience with that specific safe but what are you trying to do to it?
Is there a chance that if you try a combination too many times, the key pad locks? I thought the battery was dead but that was not the case.
I am not aware of any feature like that but possibly? I would put new battery and make sure all of your wiring plugs are still tight
@@welldonecj7 Thanks for responding so quickly. I can't imagine the keypad is that "intelligent". The model that I have has a key slot also. I bought this safe off of my brother-in-law. I will reach out and see if that key is available.

What is the part number for that electric keypad? I need one for my stack on safe.
Hey sorry I don't have the part number wrote down; but when I called they got info from my safe and were able to get the correct keypad. If you end up having trouble let me know and I can check at some point.

Hey buddy, I had to change the key pad. But the default code they gave me doesn't work. When I go press the red button inside the door to set a new code it does not beep. I cannot reset the code.
Please help.
Hmm I'm not sure, if you haven't already swap a new battery, sometimes even if it is working if battery is a little low they can act up.

Can you only use 3 digit codes or can you do 5-6 digits?
Not really sure to be honest, seemed like had to be 4+ but I could be wrong

My key pad stopped working after a year. Battery changed regularly. I went to touch key pad and the key pad shocked my finger then stopped working. Wi. Contact Sentinel about this. Anyone have idea of what caused that. Using key feature takes to long. Thanks
That's not good I wonder if a static charge ruined the circuit board when the shock occurred? If it happens again try touching metal before the keypad. Did they take care of toy and get you new electronics to fix the issue?

The cannon 48 I got today has an identical setup to the video. Maybe they recently upgraded?

Input the correct combination code to open the safe’s door. With the safe’s door open, press the ‘*” key followed by the pound key on the keypad,
Input the safe’s current combination key again and press the pound key.
Input the new combination code that you desire. It should be a six digit figure followed by the pound key.
Repeat this step again.
You can test your new combination by pressing the ‘*’ key followed by your new combination and the pound sign. Your combination code is set
My keypad won’t even accept my preset code
Does it make a noise or light up at all? Have u replaced the battery? (I know sounds basic but if low power it can affect function even if not dead) May have to replace the keypad or other electronics if it's not functioning
@@welldonecj7 it make sounds and light up when i go to press the reset button the light doesn't stay yellow it just blinks yellow for a second and goes away. so when i try to put new passcode it doesn't accept it. i am getting a replacement hopefully that will resolve the issue thank you for your help.

@@vincentwin7510 mine does exactly the same thing I can't install new code because the coding key button will not light up yellow light or key pad stay on mode. Have contacted company.
