  • In part 2 of the mod series on my 1996 MXZ 670 I am going to do the 501 rotary valve mod, install shorty intake boots, and do an oil injection delete. I will be switching to premix 32:1.

I have the same motor, however it is not in a Skidoo, it is in a Honda Pilot, FL400 ATV. The transplant required a great deal of custom fabrication. I’m trying to finish this project, but because I bought the engine already removed from the sled, I don’t know where to put everything. My question is, you mentioned a oil vent line, is this a return line? Also, on the bottom of the crankcase, the is a medium to large hose nipple, what is this line? I thought it was an oil return line, perhaps you can enlighten me please.

Weight reduction and guarantee to never burn motor up. Pumps fail. Hence why all race ready sleds have mixed gas from factory
