  • I traveled to Naples, Italy in search of the world's best pizza. It did NOT disappoint!! Naples is famous for it's Napoletana pizza which is simply made out of the freshest ingredients- a basic dough, raw tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, and olive oil. No fancy toppings are allowed!
Here are the best pizza places to check out in Italy:
    L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele: www.damichele.net/

Having been to Naples and tried Pizzeria de Michele, I can without a doubt say this was some of the best food I have ever eaten. What shocked my son and I was the price, it was so cheap for such quality ingredients. It truly gives you a better understanding of just how bad “most” pizza is in the US for 3x the cost.

@@francescacasini4694 I hate to disagree with you. I can only refer to when I was in Naples in the mid-'80s. The pizza there had a hard crust that tasted like stale bread. It didn't matter which one of these places you went to. The only good authentic pizza I could get was at a house's open kitchen, and they made the "pizza" in length form with no tomatoes. The true traditional pizza, not the American version, these restaurants are now serving them.

@@fabolousjada5070 i am from belgium, ive been in new york, jersey, chicago, los angeles, vegas, florida and a couple other states but those are the most important spots i ate pizzas at in a couple different ways, like the deep dish for example.
They are pretty good in the US, BUT i swear to god your pizzas dont taste the same like they do in Italy. Pizzas in Italy taste unique compared to any place on earth and this is NOT a joke or overexaggeration, th3y taste different in every way, you guys use walmart tomato sauce jars and all that in your napolitanos for example, that alone makes it completely different by itself already.(im just using an example, wherever the jar really comes from, jar is jar)
In Italy you will literally find EVERYTHING, from fresh ingredients, tomatos that were grown earlier that week or day, same with the herbs, all that makea the textureand flavor of the bite already completely different. Te dough is not comparable either because they do it in ways that have been done on the same stones for centuries, its comparable to having a skillet thats only been used for 1 thing for 10 years, that skillet is gonna be amazing for that 1 thing afterwards like a champ. Sooo...
If you never ate pizzas in Italy you shouldn't be talking about what you think is the world's best. Like i said they're good in the US, but still doesn't even come close :)
My list of fav pizzas around the world or stff similar is...
      1. Italy

ith 3 legs qs a symbol of it's 3 strength points where they could fish the most, because they are capes, the 3 capes, and actually get a stable source of income and stability for the country, fish is in nearly every dish or snack in Sicily.
Me knowing all this i'm not sure why you mentioned it to me, cuz that's also why i mentioned both countries separately.
An example that i think is accuratefor it is... Italy & Sicily is similar to Russia & Chechnya, completely different in how they all came to be and history and everything... but i am talking about it's separatr culture and independance and capabilities of being alone. On paper they are together, you know what i mean? By the way im not really wrong becauae Sicily stands as an autonomous region of Italy... "An autonomous area is defined as an area of a country that has a degree of autonomy, or has freedom from an external authority. It is typical for it to be geographically distant from the country, or to be populated by a national minority."
That dictionaty explanation for Autonomous says ALOT. 😊
I mean, to me and to many Sicilians... it will always be it's own. It's own culture even tho Italy is heavily influenced and has political power in Sicily, there are a lot of Sicilians today who still see Sicily as it's own.
They will accept the fusion & say yes sure we are Italian, they are not ashamed or angry to be Italian. But they will always say there Sicilian. You know what i mean? I believe and find that Sicily deserves it's own respect and scores. 😊🙏
I hope i said everything i had to say, because i thought a lot about it and don't want to leave anything out, without disrespectimg anybody. Much love brother! 😊👍

The best pizza in America is at a place called FireHouse Pizza & Pub. it is in a little city called East Peoria Illinois, about 2.5 hours from Chicago. Get the thin crust meat lovers pizza, it has 5 meats, sausage, pepperoni, hamburger, canadian bacon, and regular bacon, they cover it with meat, so much you can barely see the cheese, and it is to die for.

"Pizzewria The Mishely" the pronunciation, I'm dying inside, great video doe and a small tip, don't fold the "pizza fritta" or the inside is gonna explode xD. By the way that's how you fold that specific pizza from "Antica pizzeria da MIchele" because their pizza is the more traditional version, which is larger and less high, with the one of "Sorbillo" you just fold it normally because it's a more modern style of neapolitan pizza.
