Daray is the current drummer of Dimmu Borgir, but this was a part written and performed by their previous drummer Nicholas barker, who performed on their 2001 album "Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia" and 2003 album "Death Cult Armageddon", He is widely considered one of the best metal drummers to ever live. Daray joined I believe in 2010 and has performed on everything since "Abrahadabra". I Highly recommend going and listening to the nicholas barker material from 01-03!

Prior to that, Nick Barker recorded the album that has Kings of the Carnival Creation (the song in this video).

Dont get me wrong, Daray's awesome, but credit where credit is due. This would pass for a live show for those not paying full attention to the drums, but when you're listening to it specifically, it's Nick's song....
Daray is ok I guess, but hearing this song being played by Nick Barker, the drummer in the band when they released this album, is so much better.
bro this is sooo far above me, I love dimmu, but I know jack shaft about drums etc, I like your personallity quite a lot, just wish you would help me to understand why this or that, some ELI5 style stuff for those of use that might know some bassics of the istruments that create the music we know so much about. thank you for what you did, and if what I requested is outside the realm of interest to you that is very understandable. example: "that snare sounds pretty bad too" , I really like the drums in this song so I would love to understand why the snare was bad and so on
