Thankyou for your review, I recently brought a HD Livewire back in June 2021 and to date I have done over 5500 km on it. And as you say, every time I ride the bike I cant stop smiling. Now for the range test, I decided to do a fair dinkum ( based on my own riding style) city riding test of actual km ridden for percentage of charge used. Due to the local and state lockdown rules this test started on 29/Aug/2021 and finished on 16/Sept/2021. I started with 100% charge and finished on 16/Sept/2021 with 9% charge left before I plugged the bike in to recharge the battery to 100%
On 29/Aug/2021 my bike screen showed 100% charge, 305km range, 44 watts per km, odometer 4737km and on 16/Sept/2021 it showed 9% charge, 29km range, 42 watts per km, odometer 4950km. That meant 4950 minus 4737 = 213 km of actual km ridden for 91% of charge used. That's a lot better than what you said in the video (150 km to 160 km city range). Hmm you may ask, how did I get those good figures? Well the short answer is regenerative braking and customize your ride mode.
For the record my city range test was done in Muswellbrook NSW, a combination of 40km, 50km, 60km and 80km speed zones. With the added bonus of speed camera vans and highway patrol radar randomly parked throughout the district. I travelled at or slightly above the sign posted speed limits. Of course there was no major stop start peak hour traffic like you get in capital cities during my test period.
Anyway, one thing for sure I like about the bike is the cost to charge the bike. That 213 km I rode cost me $1.30 of FiT for excess solar back to the grid. On a side note that 44 watts per km is equivalent to getting 202 km per litre of petrol.
Would you say it's worth the $50K?
Hello is the bike good till now
I went to a motorcycle show and Harley is working on Next Gen Harley Livewire bike. They have saddle compartments like the Street Glide that hold chargers in them.
This is a legendary bike now it’s added in GTAO
Do you recommend this bike for someone who never has a bike before??
Same thing what I want to know. I know it's easier but the speed can be oversaturating
Yep!
HD livewire or livewire ONE ? which one for ya ?
One of course
Check sound brother
This bike has level 1 & 3 charging. Level 1 is your household outlet. Snail 🐌 charging at 11 hours. Level 3 charging is fast DC charging. But level 3 is very hard on the battery, and should only be used for road-tripping. They missed the boat not providing level 2 charging. Ride position and seat has been described as uncomfortable.
Is it cafe racer ?
What happens if I ride it in the rain
It’s fine in the rain czcams.com/video/aFTau6fIZ7wh/video.htmlttps://czcams.com/video/aFTau6fIZ7w/video.html

I understand all this electric scooters, electric motorcycle it’s all about saving gas I get it you guys solved that. Here’s my another concern. Since it’s electric cars don’t hear you but, you’re there. For safety can they put speakers with module with different sounds of motorcycles so that cars they know you’re there. I hope they thought about that.
Waste of money on an idea that wasn’t thought out.
50k for this?? A cvo would be worth that over this geez
I'm Kinda Curious about the Long Term Effects of Sitting on Such a Large Battery, and Generating that Much Current. Which is Still a Basically New Concept.
Apparently, it makes people needlessly capitalize letters.
HD is joking... seriously... 50k..,.. You can get an entire electric car for that price tag. Good luck wide scale sales on a 50k bike. I about out right died laughing when he said 50k. I wouldn't pay more then 50% of a cars price for a motorcycle, Try to 20 to 30k at the most.
AUS prices. It’s not 50k in USA or uk.
It's so annoying because it's gone down $10k in the US, but no changes in Australia lol.
Automatic or manual
3:13 automatic
IMPX!!
🤣🤣🤣 lmao. How you like it now?
Literally 2 seconds spent on demonstrating how it sounds before the silly background music kicks in again. We want to know what it sounds like - from on the bike, as it drives by, low speed, high speed etc. Before making a review video, ask yourself "what will people want to know about the bike". NOBODY wants annoying background music.
Okay this is fuckin dope
they need to make the livewire faster bruuh
You need English lessons.
The Livewire one can be purchased for $22,000. So much more affordable than what is quoted in this video.
He’s talking about AUS, not USD
LOL, Even at $22,000 that's still about 12 grand too much for a new motorcycle. Plus, its a Harley so it will have a ton of tacked on charges as well as mechanical issues right off the lot.
@@jeremyhahn2478congratulations on recovering from your head injury.

I can't but one. I like girls!

Fast scooter.... pathetic
Zero interest
So not a fan of that no clutch no gear combo. It's a glorified vespa 🛵
