There is nothing more precious than someone who loves you knowing all your flaws. That to me is the greatest love of all.
Thank you for being aware of the negative issues affecting Black African majority here in South Africa and not making an excuse yourself from making South Africa your home.We black South African or Africans in general love the fact that you feel home in your home Africa.
Thank you
You nailed it Sister Lady to say for Mark and Latasha it's more a labor of love. Their content exude love and patriotism. It's refreshing to watch. They found their niche and built a business model that is gaining so much momentum because it's very relative to the times .
This lady is spitting 🔥.She is very clear about herself as an African and her place in the world as a result of that.I can only say AMEN,AMEN AND AMEN 🇿🇦🙏🏾.
"Make your money in the west and spend it on the continent". This is how we in the diaspora can uplift our people.
Yes true, but you can also create a lasting legacy and home for your generations in the Continent. I think that will be important in the near future.
How does that benefit the people from the west that’s spending their money on the African continent ?
True brother. The West stole a lot of our fortunes and now it's the time for us to take it back. Westerners were hidding this from our fellow black people because they were afraid we were going to out number them.
The more we as blacks can outnumber them, then we can reclaim our ancestral continent back. Martin Luther used to say " I HAVE A DREAM" Now his dream is manifesting itself. African Americans are welcomed in S.A. and in Africa as a whole. We in South Africa used to see only Europeans and Chinese tourists.
Best Idea ever
Thank you guys, Africa is becoming much better place because you.
I fully agree with Tenicka that SA keeps record(data/stats) of everything as a result we become a study case to everyone - and we are crucified in main stream media.
I’m coming to South Africa ASAP.
We appreciate the love. The Blantons done started a revolution ✊🏿
Facts.....
Love SA! I will be visiting Cape Town again , and also Jo-burg
Please visit Durban while you're at it. You won't regret it.
I like Tenicka, she is balanced and honest in her views. The ball of energy 🤣🤣🤣
So happy to see African Americans exploring my country South Africa and getting to know the continent of Africa. Its awesome you are home.
I told my husband we are going to South Africa, I feel drawn to South Africa.
Welcome back sister Tenicka, nice to see again ❤️❤️❤️❤️
We appreciate your work Mr Blanton
Mark, great interview with the great sister, a very articulate African Queen. You guys have the greatest perspective of South Africa and Africa in general. Please keep the great work going. God Bless.
ARE YOU LISTENING TOURISM SA? 📢📢
SA is beautiful I know but in the summer it's something else. Great choice in your neighborhood queen, Blue Valley is gorgeous👌🏾
We look forward to welcoming you here
This is the best tourism channel ever as a South African it challenges me to be appreciative and play my role in making it more beautiful and clean.
Oh woooooow I love her hair style she looks flourishing ✨️ 😍 💖 💗
I hope to the minister of travel and tourism is following this channel Lindiwe Sisulu please 🙏 do your magic .
This is such an important interview for us all to heal ourselves of ill perceptions of SA holistically! Good content, thank you. Peace to all of us and the future decisions of people who think about immigrating to the continent, to SA specifically.🙏🏼
This sista is a vibe. Thank you for the great interview guys.
Excellent!💕🌍💕
How are you Asha Means Life? I listened to your interview with Changing the Narrative couple, it was a very very interesting discussion about your new life in South Africa. We in SA love you so so much. You have done a lot in promoting our country in a very calm and subtle way. Thank you again for loving us and we love you back hundred times more.
Asha means loooove ❣❣
South Africa needs Political willingness to solve the crime, immigration issues, high unemployment and elements of racism.
Hopefully You’re not implying the US doesn’t need the same advice… U R aware that whatever racism exists in SA was originally copied from the the US and Australia … just saying
This country still new in democracy it has its challenges but it will make in time, and wen that happens many people will be suprise
@@kabelothebe4350 Totally right. We will make it.
Come home African Americans 🏡🇿🇦 we love you.
Love her energy!!!! South Africa is slacking in marketing us, as a black-centric country, lots of people are thinking we have majority white people here. South Africa is amaziiiiing.
She asked Mr Blanton some really good questions. I was like wait, who’s interview is this? 😂
I love her introduction very positive and the exchange with Mark 😀😀😀.
SA can be a home away from home. We normally have more than one pair of shoes that fit your lifestyle. Why not have more than residency to call home. This can be for mental, physical or spiritual aspects. SA has the pace for you
I so agree with this. My goal is to become bi-continental.
I came from East Africa Somalia and I live in USA Minnesota you guys doing good job in South Africa I am big fan of you thank you always God bless you
The bad influence been spread on Tha AAs about SA the more curious they become 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦shout out to the Blantons!!!
Love this interview ❤️❤️ that Sister so articulate, man 🔥🔥🔥lit.
I love the new host of TRSA than the assistant🤣😂🤣welcome home sis Tonicka
Beautiful people, beautiful conversation, beautiful day. Welcome home sunshine
We appreciate you so much here is South Africa.
Today's video touched me to the core, I don't understand how our government works really, I mean tourism department has recently brought CZcamsrs from Ghana and Nigeria to SA and paid for everything from flights, and food to 5-star hotels yet failed to do that to the Blantons who are living here or at least recognise their efforts in bringing the Diaspora in the country instead private companies in the form of hotels are the ones making deals with TRSA.
I didn’t know the tourism sector had anything to do with their visits?
Their strategy is quite senseless when one looks at the potential between the two regions.AAns can bring us more return for our rands.
@@sthe_zar6341 exactly Sthe
TRSA was invited at the tourism Indaba they acknowledge their work...
I think you wrong, they were also invited and have videos for the Travel Indaba
Amazing interview, fan of both.
This lady GETS IT. Amazing conversation.
Mark , you need to talk to the tourism board to have the same thing they did in Ghana to welcome people from the diaspora
If you're talking about "the year of return," that just wouldn't make sense in the SA context, because AAs historically have ties to West Africa (and Central Africa to an extent). SA wasn't part of the Transatlantic slave trade -- so it shouldn't try and hijack that campaign.
Their best bet is to collaborate with influencers based in the US and also go to that Tourism expo they attended in Atlanta last year.
@@_theerealnono_7694 I agree they need to to use a different angle from Year of the return that will open gates for the broader AA to the South African shores, from tourism, relocation, business opportunities which we haven't tapped into as Black SAns etc. Which I think is what they are currently doing but we should become even more aggressive going forward ✌️
@@Praslin it must be branded specifically for SA, not necessarily 'year of return' as it was connected with the slave trade. Where is our tourism minister, we need to support Mark with this outstanding initiative. AA say they love Ghana because their government invited them.
@@zicodasilva1496 True
Slavery happened in South Africa too... we have dungeons and castles on the coastline very similar to the Cape Coast, West Africa and there's evidence of ship loads of the Khwe, Tswana etc taken to Belize, Surinam, Bermuda Island, Samoa, Tuvalu islands and Vietnam. The national library of the city of Chicago has archives of ships Dromedaris arriving with human cargo in the USA ports and distribution of these people being sold/auctioned..
Hello. Awesome interview by Mrs. Boyd. This allowed Mark to give details on why he and Dr. Blanton are in SA. Looking forward to making this trip.
Tenicka is the absolute best!!!! ❤🖤💚
First time seeing her without a face mask on and she's so beautiful 👌🏽
I used to say that she resembled my little sister and would say it to her back when she wore the mask with the round face, the hairline, the skin tone, and the eye area...but now not so much 🤣. They are both stunning nonetheless 🙌🏽
Didn’t know things were that bad why didn’t they show this in africa. It’s good Africans in the diaspora connect with motherland and heal be happy
Great video once again Mark keep it up proudly South African.
O Yeah Travel South Africa 🇿🇦 Detroit 🇺🇸 Professional Class
Yeeep..!
e.g. Cape Town is ranked 10th in the most dangerous cities in the world, to live in...
Also, for seven years until 2019, it was voted (The Telegraph) the best city on the planet. Last month it was voted 3rd best city.
Which one do we believe cause our Western visitors voted for both marques...
Coming from them the numbers will be skewed or there is agenda behind it. Case in point, I knew a missionary who went to Rwanda. I asked her how was the trip and the first thing that came out of her mouth was that the people are poor. I asked what did she think about the sights and city since she flew into Kigali. Again the same answer, the people are poor. One would think a person flying into Kigali would have nice things to say about the city and the rolling hills but no she stayed on code with WS views.
1st one here today 🤗🤗🤗
Problem in South Africa is if we can open up like Ghana people will end up coming here and not leave, next thing the entire Jamaica is in SA 😂😂 the country is too addictive we still have visitors who came for the 2010 world cup and never left... Im joking though our tourism sector can do better to attract our brothers all over the world ❤️❤️❤️
Your guest is so intelligent and been a pleasure to listen to. 🥰
Can anyone contact SA Tourism Board to watch this conversation from The Real South Africa
Can somebody make a petition to help the TRSA so they can meet with SA Tourism Board
Black Women in the Diaspora coming to S.A to vibe out with the people and groove to Amapiano, hahah
Wow another wonderful interview the Blantons never disappoint
Book your flights in late February. Its after Christmas travel ends and airlines need $$. You can get tickets for around $750. I've even found flights for $680 before. ROUND TRIP. Book for November and take a break from the winter in States. I've been flying home once a year for 25 years and I can usually find tickets at this price
Great pointers
@Tinotenda Good Day, Indeed, I have also followed this method for years too. Early or late February and/or November flight prices are great.
The weather in November is comfortable too.
Safe Travels. Good days ahead.
Thanks for this tip!
@@SuperLivelife2010 You're welcome ! Here's one more ...I like to book Turkish airlines. They really nice about letting you break it up if you want to include a weekend in Istanbul. Price diff is small if any.
Thank you for the tip.
My fave Instagram fashionista 😍😍
Omg!! Tenicka, what a nice surprise! Im a subscriber to your CZcams channel and Instagram. You're literally my styles inspiration!🤞🏽💅🏼
Thank you my sister , SA has its own positive and negative . We have a growing black middle class , We have this mutual attachment to AA , because of our first experience with racism, that's why we are relating to AA.
Thank you TRSA for what you do for South Africa, i hope the Tourism people hear this interview and realize what you doing is what they need to be doing - sell South Africa to Everyone, also targeting our black sisters and brothers as Tenicka mentioned
Just loving the conversation!
Shout out to Ghana very impressive
thanks for such inspiring discussion. Sanibonani.....HALALA
There's literally everything in south africa, if u want whole time snow, u can visit Lesotho during autumn/Fall and winter
Love the positive energy how did you convinced the brother to chose jobug over cape town .😆 welcome home
She is correct... The thing about South Africa we don't hide our mistakes, crime, unemployment, eniquality and so on. But we are not the baddest
Being honest sometimes it work against us now but I hope it will assist us very well in future.
Love this interview! Thank you for this engaging, honest discussion on SA!
Tenicka is black excellence❤
She looks so different from last time when she was with her husband nd daughter, but still beautiful nd most importantly loving our continent Africa.
I love how she properly pronounced Tanzania.
9:36 She’s spot on. Seeing beautiful black faces everywhere would always warm my spirit, while living in SA. There’s no other place like it. Thanks for sharing your experiences ✨
Great interview, very enlightening.
My sister you a true African women , don't ever doubt that.
My fave fashion blogger ❤️💖 just fell in love with her mind 💞🌺
Sis Tenicka I think you should work together with our tourism department
What a beautiful interview!
We have issues as a country that are not necessary unique to South Africa but ours are over magnified by those in the West who aren't happy with the fact that they have lost a hold they had on our country...and some expats who are just bitter for whatever reasons.
Love this sister! Great interview skills!
WELL SPOKEN
love this
I want to link up. On my way in March!
she was amazing❤️❤️❤️
She’s back. Yay 😀
I love this guest.
Thank you!!!
Hi, I would love to move to South Africa. I am an American
1. I would like to live somewhere near water.
2. I would like to contribute to society by working. How can I find jobs?
3. How can I find housing?
You don’t need a job sis you can make jobs coming from America you have more opportunities. You can find housing anywhere you want . Email the real South Africa they should have the email somewhere
Starting a business is a great way of contributing to society in South Africa. Jobs are scarce here
Durban can be also good for you, when came please just take a trip to Durban.
Dont worry you can find a job here, just look for the critical skills list I'm sure you will find something you like there. Looking forward to welcoming you family😍😍😍
Just opening an American style restaurant selling African American style food would set you up for life in SA. South Africans would patronise you crazy
Love you guys,welcome home.🙏🏽❤️🇿🇦
I've got nothing but love for you guys 😎
Thanks Family 🙏🏽 ❤️Ten come back 🇿🇦
Great show sis, welcome home
Ase! All that!!!
Our tourism department isn't doing enough 😕😕😕period
That is why egypt and morroco beat us when it comes to numbers. I saw a lot of russian visit Tanzania and Egypt and I know for sure SA is way more beautiful than the two countries but no Russian knows south africa, while SA loves Russia 🤷🏽♂️
I thought the lady was a South African influencer or something.
The US travel agencies are the ones narrowing the target market and excluding AAs.
Does these rates include flight round trip?
Mark ,stay in your lane, RSA is not mass production. It is about doing it proper.
who are you & what do you mean?
@@zicodasilva1496 Are you Portuguese? Do you know what the word proper means? It means correct.😊
Shalom,im very much interested in going to continent asap ,tafadhali .
No Regrets
Change is always uncomfortable, status quo bias always kicks in.
Black Like Me
Love it ❤️❤️❤️ Mark Blanton you found a great partner besides your wife she can be a powerful business person to work with you and your wife have the best content and show the best property locations in South Africa I share your channel with my friends and hope more of our brothers and sisters will come and I want to congratulate you and your team may you excel in success on the continent 🇯🇲❤️
Caribbeans relate more to the Western Africa as it can be Their ancestral region...
Hi Mark not sure if I'm off topic but if you can please invite Mkhulu Nsingiza of the Zinzi Mandela foundation I think the Mkhulu has some story to tell about our history in terms of African calendar, the Kemet I've seen some AAs they have take interest in Kemet. I think this can also boost in terms of tourism..Interview him then you will understand what I mean. 🙌🙌
Just followed her on Instagram, hope I didn't follow a wrong account.
and to add the very Europeans flock to SA every year...sun chasers
Even South Africans feel that there isn't much to explore in other countries because we have everything we need, and with the flaws we have, we're bound to stay, embrace our flaws, and find better ways of living and curbing the Crime rate, Unemployment thou some south Africans are not open to working a White man.. so we won't have crime below 0 or nearing 10%
THAT comment is wild lol
