I just spent five days in Johannesburg. Fifteen hour flight from Atlanta. Much lower cost of living.
The most concerning thing about our black AAs is that they are skeptical about visiting Africa, but Europeans are not because they know the value and quality of life Africa has to offer. A brother and sister from Arkansas, the Little Rock area. I’ve been watching real estate prices in South Africa and my quarter million dollar, 2200 square ft. house in Little Rock would sell for a lot less in SA. Invest in S A if you can.
I am a Black brother from Papua New Guinea and I first learnt about your place "Little Rock Arkansas' in my history class when I was in high school back in the late 1980s. We learnt about the Little Rock 9, about the 9 young Black sisters and brothers who enrolled at an all white school.. I will never forget that history lesson, it shock me and my class mates to the core..UNBELIEVABLE. Years later in the late 90s, when the internet reached my country, I managed to research more about the Little Rock 9, Jesse Owens, the legendary brother Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks etc etc..Yes we do learn about the African American history in our schools in Papua New Guinea.

I could be mistaken but that estate looks like Eagle Canyon out here in the west and if so shout out to TRSA for coming to the west, the north always gets coverage but then with places like Midrand as shown here I understand why. I liked it when the brother said he like to plan first before deciding on relocating. Beautiful couple.

What shopping centre is that? My fam and I are visiting SA in August so trying to find shopping centres to take them to.
Almost every corner has a mall in Joburg. So you won't struggle stumblung upon one.
Btw I studied Architecture in Uni and malls are what replaced our decaying city. So instead of people being concentrated in our CBD we had to build mini cities (aka malls) in every community so that people could get everything done in one place. In many cases these investments start as a shopping center then next thing they build office buildings next to them and residential buildings then next you notice is that a new mini city emerges.
If the JHB CBD is redeveloped to the level of New York and other World Class cities then we will see a slow decay and abandonment of the Malls as all the investments move back into the city. Then just like in the US the Malls will slowly die out. But at the moment we are spoiled for choice. You can find 5 malls in one area even more.

That can be considered if they can package a mutually beneficial immigration/investment, etc program. They must just show how they'll contribute towards the advancement of SA and it should be done. AS played a huge role in our struggle for liberation.

most African Americans leave out western and central Africa like majority of their ancestry isnt from there, southern africa isnt the only region in Africa visit other countries especially countries in west and central africa Africa like nigeria Ghana Congo Senegal Cote d'ivoire , etc those are beautiful less westernized African nations
Your point is valid to some degree with regards to diaspora exploring the whole continent at large however I thing your statement is not entirely true. First of all Ghana made the call around 2019/20 what they term 'The year of return' and according to what the media has been portraying that campaign had and still has positive outcomes for Ghana and other countries in the continent like Tanzania and others have more of them then here.
