Love the comment about noise and driving. It’s just like most Mediterranean country. Spain is a very noisy place to live, especially if you live in an apartment, why lift a chair if you can drag it across the floor screeching. Driving, isn’t as bad as it is in Paris or Belgium. Anyone that’s driven in Barcelona, Paris or Madrid will find it normal lol.

It’s a bank holiday weekend in Ireland 🇮🇪 😂 I think rents and property in Dublin are probably as bad as Tel Aviv.

As a tourist who is coming to Israel for the very first time I’d say the biggest downsides are:
    1. Lack of English language on a daily basis, on many (or almost every) product in supermarkets there’s information just in Hebrew lol. Never been to any other country like that
    2. Constant fear that something dangerous might occur like shootings etc
I was taken aback when I’ve seen that apartments have anti missile doors

Just out of curiosity, is there any appetite to join EU among anyone in Israel, has it ever been discussed ?

That's a great question. I don't think it's discussed much. I assume it wouldn't be an option given that Israel isn't in Europe. I also think Israel would have a hard time being part of a geopolitical bloc like that given the need to transpose regulations... and the European Parliament being potentially another hostile international forum, but with binding power if Israel were a member state. Israel has concluded some important agreements with the EU, though. The Open Skies Agreement in particular being one I want to make a video about!

Given the difference in the size of the population in the US it's ridiculous to ever compare the crime in Israel to anywhere in the US considering we have states that are bigger than the whole country of Israel. Not to mention lots of Jews in Israel commit crime as much as you say the Palestinians do.

Per capita statistics weight crime levels against populations. Israeli cities still have lower crime rates than major US cities.
