- You know, for a medium that creates its own brand of gods, comic books certainly have a lot of real-world mythological figures populating their pages. We know how Thor loves coming down to Earth every now and then for a cheerful bender and a fight or few. And Diana of Themiscyra has been trying to assimilate herself into human society for literal decades, despite being an Amazonian goddess. But one character who really can’t be bothered about all this god stuff is Bruce Wayne. Batman believes in only one person, and that’s himself, and his arguments for the same have been very realistic to be fair to him. The Dark Knight’s entire “contingency system” and moral crusade stems from the fact that he doesn’t have god-like powers; and he views people who use them against innocents as heathens who need to be dealt with anyway. Batman doesn’t kill not because he doesn’t want to, but because he always wants to believe that there is good in people. And he certainly isn’t the god of anybody, to be passing the ultimate judgment on their lives. He’s a man with codes in place to keep him in check. But what if he were to lose those codes? What if Bruce Wayne received the power of a god; and decided he liked it more than the world he swore to save? This video will answer those questions and more by dissecting the Dark Knights: Metal tie-in one-shot called Batman: The Merciless; and you might want to pull up a blanket for this one.

I've always had an interesting little rendition of a evil batman entertained in my personal little head cannon... its about how batman ends up dieing in some kind of weird supernatural way and ends up being resurrected supernaturally becoming.... JEEPERS CREEPERS!
AND when you really look more into it... they actually have a lot in common! batman dresses up as a batlike figure and uses extreme ninja stealth to hide in the shadows THEN strikes as his alias to strike *Fear* into the hearts of wanted criminals...
Meanwhile jeepers creepers can SMELL fear. . . and he INSTILLS GREAT fear into the hearts of his victims.
Batman also uses ranged weapons(though, should be noted that he does have an arsenal of many different kinds)but amongst all of them, there's ONE in particular that he prefers... THROWING STARS! SHAPED like a bat of course... but THROWING stars none of the less... wait. . . WHAT does jeepers creepers use to murder his victims again(though... NOT in all situations)? . . .
Then there's batmans wardrobe choice... to look like a bat. jeepers creepers is basically like some kind of bat and human hybrid RIGHT out of hell itself(though, I KNOW there's kinda already a batman in universe half man, half bat villain known as manbat, but still... hes more like a fricking puppy in comparison to jeepers creepers). .
AND to add to that... jeepers creepers even has a supped up, hellish vehicle that SEEMS to mirror the batmobile in many ways...
Am in no way saying jeepers creepers is batman, officially or anything. this was just a personal pet theory of mine. both batman and jeepers creepers are so similar... you could basically write them as mirrored, polar opposites from parallel universes or something. in ONE universe... batman is a hero who uses fear to fight off evil with a righteous vengeance, but in another darker universe.... he is a supernaturally charged demon who uses fear to basically tenderize his happless victims then eats them.
Though... I must say. . . there DOES seem to be a heck of a lot of similarity's between them that makes all of this a little too convenient. . . I wonder. . . . could the movie maker that made jeepers creepers... possibly have intended some kind of unofficial connection between the two? or... maybe the guy actually is a fan of dc's batman and based his demon creature off of some assets of batman or used the series as some inspiration in some way for the creation of jeepers creepers?
....Naaaww. . . that just cant be..... right?. . . . . .
This why batman don't need super powers it always ends up corrupting him lol thats why there so many more batman in the dark multiverse than other heroes 🤔
FYI the Justice league animated series and Justice league unlimited played with the idea of a Batman and Wonder Woman relationship way before the movies.

They'll do the animated version as for a live version they'll screw it up to make it tamer than what it actually is.

Again I really don’t understand how all these Batmen can work together they are all so different from one another like you mean to tell me a Batman who is essentially the god of war and has an army of undead Amazons to summon and has weapons that can kill gods take orders from the Batman who laughs and just chill with devastator, red death, the drowned,murder machine and dawn breaker
They are not chilling, they agreed to work together. Remember their world was like 5 secs from blowing up.

Basically all the dark batmen want to just ruin the world in their own special way so they’re goals align pretty well despite their differences.

All the knights are incredibly made, truly great writing and i would love to see them on the big screen (not all at once). The merciless however is my favorite one only an inch better than the drowned for me. And he would be a real menace if done properly. A horrifyingly powerful being that, being batman is incredibly smart as well. I wish there was more of him.
I had already heard the origin stories of The Evil Batmen from The Dark Multiverse in Dark Knights Metal as told by Comicstorian like The Merciless, The Red Death, The Batman Who Laughs, The Drowning, Dawnbreaker, and so on!
Batman is the justice league but in evil form. All the characters have different flows of himself that affects the universe and paradoxes of him. The smartest detective in the world. All that knowledge he received in life. If Batman broke his own code or became what he hated. That is truly scary

WOOOOOOOW 😮.............just when I think I had seen it all, I watch another one of these videos and find out no I haven't. All of the Batmen I've seen seem difficult to defeat let alone survive against, BUT THIS GUY, this guy definitely raises the bar!

Wonder Woman is an Amazon but she isn't a goddess. Maybe there are variants out there in the multiverse in which she is, but original/classic Woman Woman isn't.

The god that was trying to destroy earth, Dropped his helmet.
Somehow it got knocked off, and Batman decided to grab it and put it on.
But after defeating the god and The helmet not being great at all for a mortal to use and wear, Voices began to speak from the helmet and to Batman.
Making him believe a twisted corrupt version of *Mercy.*
His version of Justice and mercy was for people to die by his hand if they thought against his rules and plans.
I really don’t understand this need to keep overpowering Batman. Don’t people related to him because he is a none super-powered hero? These writers having him kill a alien who becomes a hero and killing all amazons and their champion seem to reveal a lot. Are the writers making social commentary or swimming in their personal demons?
Yeah, at some point writers started taking the whole "preptime Batman" thing seriously and it's been downhill ever since.

This is nothing against the Marvelous Videos channel. The channel is good. But these comic book alternate stories such as this are so stupid and absurd that I can imagine only complete idiots enjoying them. It’s not good as science fiction because there are unscientific elements, it’s not good as fantasy. These stories are just complete random crap the comic story writers pull out of their ass to churn out more comic book issues when the franchise reaches a creative dead end. When the stories are so absurd and when absolutely any plot twist is nonsense it is at that point that all of these comics become pointless waste of time and money.
If I were a parent this is the reason why I’d try to avoid giving my kids comics. At least I’d read them first and make sure this isn’t something as stupid as this.
