- The DC Comics tend to retain its continuity and lore. If they want to deviate from it, they will simply create another world. Want an evil Batman? Oh, there you go, now you have the Earth 3 supervillain called Owlman. But with a new world, you’ve got to keep its continuity in mind when you are writing the other stories as you do not want to break the already existing continuity. This makes things a bit complicated.
And this is where the Elseworlds publication imprint comes into play. It ventures into different, alternate situations and presents a story based on that possible world. And it’s not something the writers have to keep in mind when writing for the other issues of DC Comics.

Batmankoff is still my favorite alternate batman, despite the whole Bat Metal saga that had like 100 alternates. I like that this batman is fighting against a government rather than poor people and mentally ill doctors.
Poor people most of his rouges gallery is loaded (mentality Ill some of them are)and most of the small time crooks do get a chance to get legitimate jobs through the Wayne foundation

@@NetMoverSitan Honest question: What was the price exactly? Because I'm not sure what it was. If it was extreme pain, many heros and villans have experienced extreme pain or humiliation even death. Also she still had her super strength in tact and her ability to fly because after destroying the red sun generators, she flew away. If the price was her hair turning white, most us normal humans gain white hair when we get old. In Norse mythology for example, Odin paid a price to get more knowledge by plucking one of his eyes out; he did not retain that sight because his one eye was totally destroyed. Can anyone please tell me what price did Wonder Woman pay to break her own lasso that is supposed to be unbreakable?

@@NetMoverSitan Gotcha. Rapid Aging seems to be a hefty price to pay for breaking the lasso. Does anyone know if Rapid Aging in this instance will cause her to die much sooner than if she had not rapidly aged? Or will she still have long life with the use of her powers and abilities?

I think the red lights were never tested on Superman beforehand, so there could have been a chance it would fail, so the bomb was to prevent Batman from being captured just like in the movie.
