Evil Lois Lane Origins - This Psychotic Lois Lane Burned Batman Into Pulp After Superman's Death

- Every comic book fan worth their salt knows how important the year 1992 is in their medium’s history. What else would you call the year when Superman died? Jerry Siegel’s iconic creation had spent half a century serving as a beacon of hope for people not just within the DC Universe, but in our lives as well. The most-recognizable superhero of all time had been “killed” a lot of times, yes, but never for too long. However, when your storyline is titled “The Death of Superman”, it’s hard to ignore what the end result of the issue is going to be. Superman Vol. 2 issue #75 sold 6 million copies worldwide and was a commercial victory for DC. By exploring the hope-sized void that the Man of Steel’s absence leaves on planet Earth, we are reminded that things could’ve been a lot worse than Superman dying and being resurrected a few weeks later. But what if he didn’t wake up on time? What if, for some reason or the other, Superman’s body just didn’t recover fast enough? And what if, filled with grief & rage, his loved ones decided to turn his mission of hope into a bloody crusade? This is Tales from the Dark Multiverse: Death of Superman - Explored.

I really enjoyed this story though I was disappointed that Eradicator Lois didn't fight Wonder Woman given Lois' jealousy of WW during the Post Crisis era.
That really would have been a perfect addition to the story, I agree. Evil Lois Lane cutting loose on Wonder Woman, humiliating and then killing her.
@@arcadiaberger9204 That would make perfect sense for the Post Crisis versions of those characters: WW being Supes' best friend plus all of their sexual tension, it being shown several times that WW was in love with Supes, and Lois' jealousy and fear of Supes leaving her for WW.
What was Wonder Woman even doing when all of this was happening?
@@ContagiousSponge I don't think she was ever specifically mentioned.
@@CeltSoul Personally, I think if WW was in this story, she would beat her
This was my favorite Tales of the Dark Multiverse. The art, story, and action were all great. I loved it.
Injustice Superman and Lois Lane the Eradicator would be the PERFECT Evil Couple.
I totally agree with you it would be perfect
I feel like they would at first be Joyed but the moment they see what the other has done they would start drifting apart
Doubtful. Injustice Superman still wanted some sort of order. Eradicator Lois was going on a grief driven killing spree with no real goal.
@@alexz.8302 Injustice Superman Killed a Child who has the Powers of 5 Gods, His Friend Lex Luhtor, The Demi-God Hercules and Green Arrow, What makes you Think he's still wants Order?
Honestly offing Batman is doing Gotham a favor.
Maybe Lois could go there and deal with it's trash problem.
I agree with Injustice Superman. If you are an unstoppable force...use that to make people stop their bullshit.
Wars ended....
Why was that bad? In a conversation Superman asked if wars hsve started again and Batman never answered but Superman guessed right. They immediately started up again..
If it wasn't for Wonder Woman and Batman I think Superman would have calmef down and thought it through.
It's a long shot...but the world have been better with a Justice League like regime instead of the quasi-nightmare that happened
The irony that the symbol of hope in the world to Superman was someone who wasn't better than anyone else. I think she realized this at the end that Superman needed an anchor not to keep him sane, but was altogether capable of something she never was: faith.
Faith ? Since the 90’s till now crime has continue to happen and even grow worst on the hands on Superman so faith has nothing to do with completing stopping crime
lol lois ferocity didnt make her more powerful than superman because by that logic Zod and Ultraman would be superior in that sense....this is a perfect example of what makes superman special because of the experience and extreme control he had over his powers showing tremendous restraint ...clearly Lois and even batman weren't capable of handling those kryptonian abilities and easily got corrupted
would love to see Evil Lois in a DC animated film
If someday, Dark Nights Metal gets an adaptation I’m hoping Lois Lane The Eradicator along with Batman The Silenced and Batman The Broken to make an appearance along with having a major role in it.
Man, I thought evil Superman was scary an evil version of Lois Lane even scarier I want to see an animated movie done on this. Imagine another Superman popping up in her universe & seeing what happened to his beloved version of Lois. This Lois even kills Lana Lang because she's still in love with Clark & tried to take him away from her. She doesn't harm Clark's parents though.
@nemo pouncey And the Drowned, Green Lantern Batman, vampire Batman I wonder what an evil versions of Nightwing or the Wonder Twins would be like? Lol.
Injustice superman would be so proud
"a rather keen sense of honesty and justice given that she is a journalist"
You haven't had to deal with too many journalists lately have you?
Tired: Lois Lane dies, Superman goes evil and takes over the world.
Wired: Superman dies, Lois Lane goes evil and takes over the world.
John Belushi Wired: Every evil Superman that is NOT a DC creation.
@@jcaseyjones2829 Sorry, I don't get it.
Just a joke man. I was just saying DC isn't especially good at evil Superman stories.
@@jcaseyjones2829 Oh, I see. Yeah, the best Bad Superman stories have generally been from independant takes. Plutonian, Public Citizen, TV Show Homelander, Comic Book Plutonian (not evil, he just kinda sucks) ect., Tho, there have been a lot of duds there too, you ever heard about Tomasi's Mighty? Course not, cause he sucks. Really, it's not the concept that's the problem, is that the basic idea is a very obvious and lazy subversion, that leads to a lot of creators acting like they're the first to think of it-see Brightburn.
Except Superboy Prime, I will defend that asshole as actual great realization of the worst kind of Superman-the Champion of the past. Also, if he counts, Superdoomsday.
@@markuscriticus8278 May I die a thousand deaths for forgetting Superboy Prime! The single greatest Evil Superman ever, and easily the most tragic.
That moment (which I've seen people laugh at!) when he starts killing people accidentally in his big attempt to replace Conner is heartbreaking. The horror on his face when he says, "You're ruining me!"
Oh my Lord. The kid who just wanted to be a Superman worthy of the one he grew up reading, forced into a conscious, involuntary heel turn.
I absolutely feel you as far as both loving Prime and the also the stigma of loving him.
Read a few of the Tales of the Dark Multiverse stories and this was my favorite one.
Some stuff in video is wrong like hank Henshaw killing Superman, in the original story eradicator block Henshaw’s Kryptonite laser to save Clark but in this story because of Lois’s kill first mind set she destroys Henshaw but causes all the kryptonite in the cannon to spread in a cloud form and hit Clark and that’s what killed him. The story is saying that Lois’s anger and rage turned the “S” from a symbol of hope into that of fear and it killed the person she loved the most.
This version of Lois lane is insane and I am here for it.
If Batman had this many dangerous negative worlds I'd hate to see other heroes or vigilantes' worlds
WOW, I never knew of such a version of Lois existed. I like this video, and would make a very good animated movie :)
Wow This Lois Lane is a Ticking Time Bomb
It was honestly cool to see a story in the dark multiverse that wasn't focused on a main hero for a change and this version of lois is both depressing and terrifying to see.
I am actually surprised we didn’t see this evil Lois lane in dark knights death metal because if there’s one character in the dark multiverse that’s very interesting 🧐 it would be evil Lois lane confronting are Clark Kent Superman and Lois lane and their son Jonathan Samuel Kent superboy as his little 10 year old self.
Technically there was, just not with the same origin, she used Amber Kryptonite to remove Superman's powers and take them for herself before killing him.
This Lois Lane would have swiftly solved the Dark Knight Metal problem by killing every Batman she could find. She's more dangerous than Superboy Prime.
@@NetMoverSitan that's true yes but personally i was hoping for that tie-in to show this evil Lois lane then the one we got for death metal.
Yep interesting 🤔
@@ExeErdna I don't think she would be able to kill Batman consider that he became a Black Lantern.
Out of curiosity, how does one get burned to a pulp?
Fun fact I went to Superman’s funeral at the Springfield mall in Virginia when doomsday killed him. They held an actual funeral for him and it was awesome. I was about 9 or 10 years old and vividly remember that day
Me too
@@danschumacher5427 that’s cool as shit man. It was cool to be there and be a part of ur
They had a real funeral for him?
Note: Superman was resurrected about two years later, not a few weeks later.
I hope we see this character again, this would be a great villain for Superman to fight against
The Bleeding Red Shield on Lois is what they used on the cover of Death of Superman.
Jonathan Kent was in a coma, he didn’t die.
superman died twice in one comics talking about the level of disrespect to supes. lol
Superman and respect doesn't go hand and hand
This Version of Lois Lane Deserves
a Live-Action Apperence in the DCEU Films from James Gunn, James Wan, and Zack Snyder
No
I'd second that. It would be refreshing to venture away from the good guys always win formula and dabble in bad guys winning for a change.
Tragic Rampage !!!??? She was evil, superman's death just bring that characteristic in front.
This should be a premise for Injustice 3!
Weren't the Eradicator's powers different? Iirc he had weird energy blasts and was lacking some basic Kryptonian abilities. Also, didn't a human merge with Eradicator once already, giving the human that alternate power set?
There was a time in the golden / silver age of DC comics where Lois Lane became Superwoman!
Hmm. She's basically what Superman became in Injustice universe, just at a much darker scale. 🤩
Ranger Slayer Origins This Alt version of Kimberly Anne Hart the original Pink Ranger is a dark take on the Mighty Morphin Heroine
Good video I like the channel but it needs organized a little more on a playlist on categories like all your DC characters in one folder Masters in the universe origin stories and another it's a little hard to find some of your videos when you looking up for certain character but I like 👍
To be honest I didn't know it was Lois I thought it was Supergirl
The killing of Black Atom is kind of a stretch in this book , isn't it? I can see some of the others getting masequerd, but a God like him wouldn't be so easy. Ijs
1:47 ok never found this out, but who is the giant batman in the back
How did she burn him to a pulp? Did she burn him to ashes then take those ashes and added water and glue to make a fine pulp?
could power girl stop evil Lois?
No
THIS IS HOW LOIS LANE TRANSFORMS INTO SUPERWOMAN & BECAME THE STRONGEST MEMBER OF THE BIRDS OF PREY!
damn that's actually scary. Justice lord evil lois lol oh my goodness. She'd go full darksied on everyone. Holding superman as a slave with liquid kryptonite into his veins
Superman was her pillar of strength in more ways than note.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned...
The artwork on this issue is superb. Great story!
They should make a movie about the evil Lois lane that would be so dope to see
Evil Louis Lane 🤣🤣🤣 I'm dead. So dumb
No😐
"With a rather keen sense of HONESTY and JUSTICE, given that she is a JOURNALIST by profession..." ...cute.
Now this comic is Amazing ♥️
I know.
The cause of this dark universe. The birthing matrix running on windows 7
Twisted earth 🌎 dark Multiverse Lois lane twisted superman 🌋
You mean she isn't already?
I'm a Batman fan but even I called him stupid because Louis was right killing your enemies we'll get them out the way quick connect and Batman knew he couldn't exist without the Joker so I'm glad Louis did what she had to do and Batman got what he deserved
This entire comment makes me doubt that you are Batman fan, and even if you think that Batman is dumb. That doesn’t mean he deserves to die.
@@mikeval1525 Well technically I can say that because I am a Batman fan and this is how they were all the dumb so superheroes have done but they turn around and eliminate the threat Tony Stark eliminated obadiah stain Batman knowing how dangerous The Joker was kept letting him live And it was because of that that The injustice saga yeah so sometimes our favorite people should be killed off because they keep doing stupid things Batman I know he has this whole thing about not killing but when something is extremely dangerous you need to get rid of it
@@mikeval1525 no his rogues gallery deserved to die but he couldn't follow through so many many many innocent people died in their place. At this point Batman is an accomplice to murder.

Still waiting for the pay off every October the should do dark multiverse month
Awesome
This story needs to be made into a animated movie.
She also doesn't have the Kryptonite weakness
Evil Lois Lane is dark 😅😌🌆
Man. I love listening to this while creating mlp OC's. All of them come from different universes.
Evil Lois Lane Ruthless brutal Superman or superwoman twisted 💀
This was one of the best tales from the dark multiverse stories, the story was well written and imo the story did a good job showing her evolution from good to bad. Unfortunately she wasn't in the major story which was surprising considering the potential she had overall.
Make this a movie please
You hear the tragic news about Lois Lane? She got breast cancer from Superman's X-ray vision 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
First he shows us that it was Henshaw who killed Clark with a huge Kryptonite laser, then he says Lois herself killed Clark for getting in her way.
I’m confused. It says Henshaw killed Superman but then it says Lois did. Didn’t Henshaw blast him with the kryptonite?
Lois Lane twisted really world @
So she's just evil Superman; you literally pointed out that the only thing different about her is her silly bleeding outfit.
No
She basically fuss with the eradicatior power
The Anti-Monitor's name is "Mobius", not "Morbius".
This was my favorite dark mutliverse story. Lois looks so bad ass
The Dark Angel of the multiverse......such a badass nickname.
If McFarlane ever gets to the death and return of superman in the dc multiverse line I hope she's included!
What of Evil Lois Lane, and Injustice Superman meet each other? 😁
They'd have evil babies
@@joeclaridy exsctly. I loved how it will be written in a story. It's so dark I loved it. 😂 Just kidding but it would be interesting to have a story on it. 😂
I'm mildly surprised that no one has done some kind of "What if?" relating to Evil Lois and Injustice Superman(Earth 22 I think...?), or the Original Superman.
Well nothing I've heard of anyway. Besides, after DCeased, it seems writers are liking the idea of killing off super heroes multiple times (maybe they get tired of having to go through the same tirade all the time?).
Personally, I would have some serious schadenfreude if Evil Lois beat the _ever living shit_ out of Injustice Wonder Woman (oh, stop whining, she's had it coming for a while🙄).
ED
Abandon all hope…
Now that’s deep, yo!
I wonder what will happen If she meet evil lois lane from earth 3
They will fight.
make for marvel blaastar...
Could we see a new Injustice game in the near future?
nah MK12 is coming out before injustice 3
I wish more fans would be open to dark versions of our heroes. I had no issue with the Snyderverse Batman because he did what I wanted him to do for so long, kill the villains. Allowing his rogues to live ensured that many more innocent people will die. This never made sense to me.
Spider-Gwen did it better.
Ooh dark multiverse, you scamp, always trying to ruin our childhood heroes 😏
This Lois Lane would fit in perfectly with Injustice Superman.
The Dark Angel of Death herself. One of my favourite characters and stories from the Dark Multiverse.
Im pretty sure Batman could find a way to forgive Evil Lois Lane... he seems to forgive the Joker over and over again and won't kill him (likely because my fan theory that they're actually the same person is true). Lois isn't as evil as she might think either.... Batman has definitely seen worse
Oh great, another 'Batman doesn't kill is dumb' guy. Do you even realize that Joker keeps surviving because because readers want more Joker stories?
Batman doesn't forgive Joker, he never will but Batman does believe he can change.
@@l0sts0ul89 which the major flaw in his character that many fans hold on to. I hate this trait because it causes so many deaths.
@@joeclaridy Not really? Batman isn't responsible for Jokers life, blame Gotham for not giving the Joker the death sentence
I disagree about your hypothesis about nothing stays good forever don't believe that so sorry I know we're just talking about a comic that's just not my belief system
Something about Lois turning into a villain hits different
I would love to see her in the DCEU.
There's something sexy yet truly atrocious in the idea of a hero that avenges someone but loses the connection of what their beloved truly symbolized. Joker created Injustice Superman but Luthor created Eradicator.
how is that sexy and atrocious i really want to know what you mean by that.
@@maliksmith5276 The story of vengeance and redemption has been a tale as old as time as its exhilarating. It's atrocious in that the audience knows that vengeance only leads to self-destruction.
''But in our lives as well''...lmao... when this dude died in the comics , I failed to notice the real world change in any tiny way. Lets not overplay the impact of events.
Powerful evil Lois Lane Ruthless
Superman is not hope🙄 Lois Lane hated Clark Kent until she learned that he was Superman.

Hardly worst Lois has treated Superman as the Lois Lane Comics provide evidence of.
"Lois Lane has rather keep sense of honesty and justice given that she is a journalist by profession."
Yeah, because journalists are known for being honest and just all around the globe. xD
She should be in an animated film
Finish your title
He did . "after superman death"

Injustice was great, then you have a money grab injustice 2 and now injustice gender swap
I rather have loise lane as Superman then Superman himself. Why?
Crime continues to happen and grow more despite Superman taking care of it by letting them live
How........ how THE FUCK do you burn someone to a pulp?
