Among friends, because of their ignorance towards blacks, i experience stereotyping. Ibn Khaldun, _Muqaddimah_, 14th century AD "Then I reached [a West African town]. This town had as its governor an excellent man, a pilgrim called Farba Sulaiman, well known for his bravery and tenacity...An Arab slave girl of his from Damascus came in to us. She was an Arab and spoke to me in Arabic." Ibn Battuta, 14th century Note that in this case, a black man owned an Arab slave "A man of discernment said: The people of Iraq ... do not come out with something between blonde, buff and blanched coloring, such as the infants dropped from the wombs of the women of the Slavs and others of similar light complexion; nor are they overdone in the womb until they are burned, so that the child comes out something between black, murky, malodorous, stinking, and crinkly-haired, with uneven limbs, deficient minds, and depraved passions, such as the Zanj, the Somali, and other blacks who resemble them. The Iraqis are neither half-baked dough nor burned crust but between the two." Ibn al-Faqih al-Hamadani, _Mukhtasar Kitab al-Buldan_, 903 AD "Another of [the Malli blacks'] good qualities is their concern for learning the sublime Qur'an by heart...One day I passed a handsome youth from them dressed in fine clothes and on his feet was a heavy chain. I said to the man who was with me, 'What has this youth done -- has he killed someone?' The youth heard my remark and laughed. It was told me, 'He has been chained so that he will learn the Qu'ran by heart.'"

I agree Somalis should talk about it with other fellow Somalis. However do not disregard her experience. Somalis are black people. And yes we should talk about antiblackness in the Somali community.

The first migration took place in the fifth year of the Proclamation - in A.D. 615.
The king of Abyssinia welcomed the Muslim refugees from Makkah into his kingdom. He gave them sanctuary, and they enjoyed peace, security and freedom of worship under his aegis. About a year later, the Muslims in Abyssinia heard rumors that the Quraysh in Makkah had accepted Islam.
If it was true then there was no reason for them to live in exile. They were homesick, and they decided to return to Makkah. But when they arrived in Makkah, they found out that not only the rumors they had heard were false, but also that the Quraysh had stepped up the persecution of the Muslims.

Let me tell you about the Year of the Elephant. Abraha al-Ashram an Ethiopian guy. Learn your deen guys. So you can argue from the deen side as well. This guy is so strong that the Arab pagans couldn't do anything that God himself had to interfere and save the Kabah.
The above-mentioned episode happened in his youth. Now we come to the most important event of his life which took place just eight years before his death. By then, he was the patriarch of the tribe.
The Ethiopian governor of Yemen, Abraha al-Ashram, envied the reverence in which the Ka'bah was held by the Arabs. Being a staunch Christian, he built a big cathedral in Sanaa (the capital of Yemen) and ordered the Arabs to go there for pilgrimage instead. The order was ignored. Not only that; someone entered the cathedral and made it unclean. The wrath of Abraha knew no bounds. In his fury, he decided to avenge it by demolishing and desecrating the Ka'bah itself. He advanced with a large army towards Mecca. There were many elephants in his army; he himself rode a huge elephant. It was an animal which the Arabs had not seen before...read the link.

firstly Arabia natives ''original arabs'' that became Saudi , Qatar , Yemen , Kawait , Iraq , Syria , Oman, Jordan consist tribes each tribe have their bloodline recorded for thousands of years to this day as prove they are original native arabs and has its own land that they are known for and proven by other Arabian tribes some tribes like the hashemet tribe that ruled for thousand of years the western region of Arabia was defeated by Al Saud tribe so the heashemt tribe moved to make their own country called Jordan also like ALsabah another tribe from Arabia created Kawait and the same for Alsaud tribe that came from the middle of arabia unified most of the Arabian tribes conquering other big tribes and their lands all around Arabia under the Alasaud leadership thus creating Saudi Arabia and thats why gulf countries natives have same tribes for example qahatani tribe in saudi extend to gulf countries and yemen so you will find arabian tribes are the same natives that lived before countries were created and before religion but now are with different arab nationality but the same people and land that was once called Arabia and any one other than the arabian tribes that were in arabia were black african slaves and other races were known because they are non arab tribal with no land. the difference is an original Arab can prove his bloodline recorded clans with family trees that belong to the tribe except for the african slaves and other races that couldn't and all the orginal arabian tribes have well known knowledge of all the real arabian tribes and who is not ,,,,which discrimination to this day happens all original Arab tribes in arabia marry with in the tribes and some can marry to arabs who aren't originally arabs countries in africa like egypt morrocco but one with non black bloodline one white bloodline .In Saudi it's the same non marrige with african bloodline who are called now afro arabs after saudi abolished their slavery 1930 afro arabs in saudi mostly live with each other in the same neighborhoods that are considered very poor polluted drugs where no original saudis live but other than marriage they don't face real racism, racism in saudi is about tribe racism who bigger who has the most history of past battles and conquests between arabian tribes non original arabs have names for cussing non orginal like blacks abed (slave) other races some asian some white are called (tarsh bahr) which is your the remains of the past pilgrams to makkah that have unknown origin.
