    this is basically a freight train for the Autobahn big heavy fast Luxurious vehicle. A friend of mine had one of these I remember being in the back seat as we are approached a hundred miles an hour and up to around a hundred and sixty the car basically got quieter lower and more comfortable the faster we went I was very impressed with that car back in 2012 it was one of the most sought-after vehicles for a big 4 door in my opinion. Could be used as a business man's chauffeured vehicle as he commuted to work on the Autobahn I really love this vehicle. As a guy in this video said he's had no problems with it at all. Yeah I think you guys are making it sound like a lemon yeah you're going to pay for all the prices for maintenance but come on it's not that much of a lemon.

      Have any of you commenting this shit owned an Audi before? Specially newer models that are S or high trims? Coming from someone who owned an b8 S4 the car was great and didn’t have any real issues. Yes maintenance is costly (once out of warranty) but the plus is that you don’t really encounter issues frequently on these cars as long as you keep up with the recommended maintenance. Plus, anyone that even considers this car in the used market would be someone capable of the upkeep. You are not going to get some dude shopping around for a Toyota, Honda, or Chevy in the 40-50k range cross shopping this car.

    Niiiiice! Nice bigger wheels and the suspension set a little lower and rear window tint and an agressive exhaust would transform the car to a beast! Now that it’s more affortable to younger people this car’s image will change from an old man’s car to a much cooler car. If it had air suspension set super low there wouldn’t be many cooler cars in the world. Maybe the current AMG S65L is cooler but still this is pretty close.

    • @epicon6
      @epicon6 Před 5 lety

      Ivanov, Marcell That’s the exact opposite of what i’m talking about. Every big sedan should have tinted windows straight from factory because it makes the shapes of the rear of the car come together. Also bigger wheels for the same reason. Small factory wheels makes cars look like nothing. And exhaust would have to fit the character of the car and bring out some sound of the W12. Who would put a cheap quad exhaust on this? And air ride is just cool because you can get rid of the wheelgap and choose any ride height you like.. I did mention younger people but didn’t mean teenagers. More like 30-45 when the original target audience was 40-85. Everyone who puts stickers on their cars should be punched in the face.

    What is the torque on that W12? Gorgeous car and the interior is stunning! On par with any Benz or BMW, even Bentley or Rolls. The price is a steal, the maintenance will kill you in the long term, but with the money you save it may be worth it. Since I'm an enthusiast, I would go for an S8 or RS7. Really cool find!

    • @stef123992
      @stef123992 Před 5 lety +1

      628Nm of torque. But in truth if you own it for 5+ years, you are likely to pay the price of the car just on maintenance. Not to mention the fuel economy. Maybe for a lot less you can find Merc W140 with V12 engine, if it ever came to the States. That is a beast, 400hp, 580Nm, 4 speed auto. That one is also very old, and running that thing will run you to the ground if not careful but still, a really cool car. But in general, German cars lose value the moment you take it out from the dealer. Its crazy. In my opinion, Japanese cars, especially quality Toyotas keep their value really good. i.e. Here in Europe a Land Cruiser Prado 3.0 diesel engine from 2004 is 25k with 160k km / 100k miles. That thing is really old, and brand new it was around 60k. So half the price in 15 years. And some of those Lexus LS models keep the price really good.

      This is a gorgeous car! Btw why would you even want a W12? I get a V6 might be a little underpowered but why not get a 400 something hp V8 instead? Or even an S8 version? It probably has cheaper maintenance, better fuel economy, and its faster.

The focus shifts from the rear seats to the beautiful design on the outside. czcams.com/video/t8sn4hMxIoM/video.html There isn’t a similar video of the A8L on youtube and it’s really a shame because that means to me that people are unaware of these cars because all the examples they see are old man specced with factory wheels and suspension height.
