Thanks for the update! You sound you're getting better little by little. I'm 15 months off and started feeling bad head pressure in the front part of my head. Still got the fear thing too, and get easily startled. Also, feel down a lot like theres some force pulling me down. Just gotta try and stay positive and busy. Take care

Calm me down . . So went with it . It helped for the moment but it didn’t change anything . Exercise and just trying to keep your kool . Seems better .
Benzo is whatever also alcohol is too . Stay strong Bruh . Fight the fight . 🤙🏽✌🏽

Hey man still right behind you with this .. I go through the same things too.. about the gym thing .. don’t do too much high intensity exercise ( CrossFit ) it releases cortisol and cortisol make symptoms worse and it’s hard on the central nervous system .. go for old school gym style exercises light to medium weight with medium reps .. lift weights and do one muscle group at a time and if you have to do cardio walk at a pace for no more than 20 minutes ( treadmill) 3 x a week .. I’m a bodybuilder and I’ve been back in for 8 months .. that’s how I know what happens to the body when we do exercise ... when I push too hard in the gym I start experiencing more cns issues ... which has me toning it down every once in a while .. all the best and take care man .. we will eventually get through this hell

I'm not sure how long ago you posted this. I'm 38 months out from benzos. I can relate to everything you say. I have some of the same symptoms as you and other ones like extreme fatigue etc. In in a big wave now caused by extreme stress again for the last 10 days. Hoping to lift soon. Anyway I've had the head pressure. I still get it. It feels like my head is suddenly getting pressure and is going to explode or I'm gonna have an anurysum. Maybe I described mine a little different than you described yours, but I think it's the same cause. I dealt with it for some time off and on. Still get it at times. I think I might have an answer for you for this. It fixed mine for the most part at least. I believe it is the muscles in your neck and the base of your skull are getting really tense and squeezing. This is what is causing this head pressure and pain sensations. It is for me anyway. I've never had this prior to benzo withdrawal. Here's what works. Go to a chiropractor that specializes in/works with muscle stretching. They use thier fingers to push on your muscles at certain points to shorten them and then have you do a certain stretch at the same time. There is a name for this type of muscle work but I can't remember what it is called. Don't let them adjust you though, only have them stretch your neck muscles and the muscles at the base of skull. Not that an adjustment would hurt you but it will not help anything at all and might give you a stiff neck for a couple days. The strecting is very effective though and very quick and simple. It fixed mine after 2 visits. It will come back again periodically when under extra stress, but usually 1 session with chiropractor again to stretch the neck muscles and it's gone again. I never thought my neck muscles where tight. They never felt like it, but it was in fact the problem. Makes sense though. We hold stress there, plus benzos withdrawal plays hell on our muscles. It's worth a shot! Thanks for the videos. It helps knowing im not alone in this.

I Appreciate your videos. You are very honest and articulate. Be very careful about foods that have MSG and high glutamate. They are excitatory to your nervous system. This may be why we get windows and waves partly. It’s a crazy road and nobody would believe it unless they have experienced it. 🙏👍 My wife was a pharmacist and she says to stay away from B6. It can rev up symptoms. 💪🏼

sixslow be very careful because MSG goes by many many other names such as autolyzed yeast extract and even natural flavors and spices. I’m not a believer in taking supplements or going through this process because we are so sensitive and The food and supplement industry often hides inactive ingredients which may spark waves.

I have suffered from chronic headaches, which eventually crawled down my neck and back and became chronic. Then I started having migraines. A doctor told me to press on the back of my head in the dip as hard as I can. It helps a lot. It has turned migraines down to headaches, and headaches have disappeared. Give it a try, and give yourself several minutes doing it, and do it while you are laying down as relaxed as possible.

just saw your day 36 video and immediately had flashbacks to when i came off a 3 yeard xanax addiction that built up to 30mg a day by the end (and 30mg was only enough to normalize me and not cause any inebriation due to such a high tolerance at the time in 2003) the only reason i believe i did not have any seizures was due to the fact that i was taking gabapentin while i came off of the xanax. the acute detox took about 2 weeks and it felt like how you looked in that original video since then i have never gone back and have somehow changed in my physiology as since then i can take benzo's of any kind without any fear of relapse as they no longer effect me in any sort of positive manner and i only utilize them in very spread out small doses perhaps 20mg of valium over the past years time.. no temptation even because of how shitty they make me feel so thats an added bonus im glad to see you toughed it out brother keep at it! :-) also check out iboga some time, very interesting form of addiction therapy tho doesn't work well for benzos but works wonders for opioids amongst other substance issues.

You should take some omega 3, some magnesium, and some vitamin C. Some D too I think.
And definitely a probiotic. Megasporebiotic worked for me... a lot of our Nuerotransmitters that our brains need are made in our gut so you want to make sure your gut’s microbiome is healthy. Sounds weird but it’s the answer. For real

🤕🤕🤕🤕 OMG ... I have the same exact pain in my head “Occipital Neuralgia”... CNS is all out of wack. Same exact spot!
Your videos are very good for me to know what I’m dealing with is withdrawal.
Pshshs... everyone I know in withdrawal all have the 2 year story before they are better. Some people have the DNA to heal quick...
I’m only 3.5 months off... I worry how long I have to deal with the pain.
Working out does the same to me. Adrenal glands are all messed up.
Dr can’t do anything.. CNS is compromised with no natural GABA flow and Adrenals are in overdrive.
You said it all.. hate you had to suffer but your videos are very important to me! You got me out of a bad spot one day...
    I got many other symptoms...
Wish I had a Daughter.... heck maybe even a wife ... but glad I don’t cuz I feel nothing but rage and misery.

The only thing that helps is mindfulness meditation guided practice mp3 I have. The other thing is John Sarno’s book to help with the psychological part to know the pain is from the nervous system. The other book “The Worry Trick” by David Carbonell...

I know this sounds ridiculous but I wish I could hug you and tell you, "it will all be ok in the end" and "this will eventually be nothing more than a memory" but I am still Tapering myself. Your videos help a lot. I realize that giving advice (mostly on Reddit) is a very sensitive thing to approach. Everyone says (including me) to exercise and watch their diet. You've made me more aware of the fact that what helps one person could hurt another. This shit is so horrible and I wish there was something that helped overall since the cause is the same: Benzodiazepines. As for people who tell you this is in your head, let them think what they want, and hopefully they never find out what this shit can do. I know this is a long winded comment so I'll stop with a request. Would you be willing to consider making a video during a "window" because those days are what keep us going. It might help you as well as your viewers to make and see one of those videos. Thank you for continuing to make updates through this battle. You are stronger than you think (:

But when asked how I’m doing, I feel they wouldn’t ask if they didn’t want to hear. Why would I seclude myself for a year, if I was faking or overdramatizing. Fuck those people. Try forcing a more positive outlook. We are what we think we are..and its hard to think happy but its needed...oi I have my crap updates on my other channel (errorfairy)& I found to help with racing thoughts I sing a dumb song in my head forcing my thoughts to go in circles instead of running a marathon and I laugh while I do it to avoid anxiety thoughts also watching asmr helps the MOST. I've taken supplements and don't find any issues yet but maybe later who knows...who knowwwssss I have so much ahead of me...sorry for the 1000 comments

You remind me of how I sound when withdrawaling. You're never faking it. I can see it in your face. The one comment hit me...Maybe...Its not withdrawals. It is brain damage. And that's why it's so drawn out. I think those spasm almost looking like seizure things did you in honestly. That cold turkey made this all last longer imo. Caused more immediate severe damages than if you slow taper and your body gets to slowly readjust you had to abruptly start readjusting I'd assume...
Have u ever read about the medication in the UK that they give to reverse benzo overdose....It seemed like the subutex of benzos. But maybe it's not I'm not sure. Also You need to use Metamucil! I'm never going to shit again after my last dose. I'm so worried cause I've had constipation from opiates for the same amount of time but got off those thank god...opiates I've now realized as not a very bad drug compared to clonazepam. I'm hoping I can taper down to miniscual amounts before dropping. I also wonder if diazepam is worth switching to. Because I am. Lol sorry very scatter brained. I am just as mad about this as you are. I think we all shoukd ban together on benzo buddies. And take down the benzo doctors lol yeah right....ugh it's just maddening they've done this to us. With no care. No worry of repercussions.
#asmr & 5 htp really helps me with withdrawals. 5 htp would help you if you're not already taking it. That and eat alot of hemp seeds and get some CBD or cannabis oil if not for anything than muscle pains. A slave would work wonders. Try marysmedicinals.com

sixslow thank you very much for replying, I really appreciate it! How long did you have that symptom for? Did it slowly fade or did you just wake up and it was gone? What made it worse or what made it better? I’m worse in restaurants and sitting at tables in general. I stopped an antidepressant and I at 5 months out, I was hit with a huge list of symptoms, some of which I can relate to you on. I also get that bright white dot that zooms across your vision. Almost like a sprite/orb/meteorite. I think you mentioned it in one of your first videos. It comes very rarely though.
My main symptoms are the rocking/swaying boat which seems to go away in a car, and gets worse after I get out - but only on longer journeys. Short journeys I’m fine.
I also have floaters, tinnitus, adverse reactions/hypersensitivity (coffee was a huge thing in my life, now I can barely take decaf) to all supplements and medications (even over the count meds) which I’ve had no issue with in my entire life. I’ve felt suicidal, have existential crises sometimes. Feel like I’ll never heal etc. Then I go into a downward spiral. I also get pressure in my ears sometimes. My limbs go numb very easily and I can get pins and needles very easily. I’m weak and get very spaced out vision wise when I’m exercising. It feels like I’m drunk when I exercise. I’m afraid to push myself in the gym - whereas prior to this I use to go 5 days a week and was doing 20 mins at the top speed on the threadmill. Now I can’t even do a light jog for 2 minutes without getting dizzy/off balance.
My vision also seems to pulsating sometimes in time with my heart beat.

      @sixslow  Před 6 lety +6

I had it for like 8 months I think, but it would come in waves, some days I would have it badly and then some days I wouldn't. it didn't just dissapear. I promise you that you will see drastic changes and will wish you had listened earlier. Look it up, it's used for Tinnitus but pharmaceutical companies will not research it because that's admitting the problem.
