U can actually convert the fx3 trimmer to use the fx skeleton blade on the fx 3 trimmer I did and its the nest since I did

Excellent choice!
The FX3 clipper rocks with the runtime and the 5A charging. I am bothered by the hair buildup behind the blade, and I dont like how fast the blade gets hot. The kids really notice the heat from the blade. Also, with their soft skin, the trimmer is a bit sharp.
I go back to the gold FX trimmer for the kids…
What I do like about the clippers? The runtime, the easy to hang wire, the fast charge, the color, and even the sound is good. The trimmers? Well, honestly, I use them because it is a challenge, and because it matches my preference of clipper. I prefer the Gold FX because the old blade they had was fantastic. (Told that blade is no longer available)
The gold FX is always a go to for us for any situation! We also have an issue with the hair build up on the clipper...hopefully this will be something Babyliss fixes in the future

My andis gtx broke which i had for years, would fx3 trimmer be a better replacement or should I get the gold fx for doing my own shape up?
The fx3 is super sharp. It’s good if you have a steady hand but the the gold fx or the lo pro trimmer are good alternatives
Great review! I Personally will only use the trimmers from baybliss, I think the clippers are overrated, blades are priced too high, replacement parts to get are nearly impossible, what you get in a box If you buy a clipper Is nothing compared to what you would get if you went with Style craft or gamma.
I pretty much wash my hands of baybliss, Style craft/ gamma Are way better choice in my opinion.
LoPro clipper going off!! The Gold FX are nice also, but I do agree the S/C and Gamma's Cippers are nice.

What are the charge times and battery life for each FX3 trimmer and FX3 shaver?
I think of it's fully dead. Less then 2 hours but it has a lithium polymer battery not ion. So I think it takes less juice to get going.
What is the runtime on that lopro clipper? I keep hearing 2 to 5 hours.

hey buddy, quick questions please... everybody say that red fx3 trimmer is stupid "sharp" ...so is it the gap setting thats sharp? ...ie; the cutting blade is pushed up to far, which begs the question, can u just back the gap off to a safe setting? ...or is it the angle of the finished edge of the blade itself, as in putting an "edge" on ur pocket knife? thanx man
Great question! In my opinion it is a combination of the angle and the gap of the blade. The gap can be pushed back a bit but when I did it to mine I was not getting it to cut at all. I recommend if you get it to use it stock and just have a very light touch
Do your lopro trimmer blade get hot
They do not! We usually spray our clippers before each haircut and after with cool care. Also if they do get to hot, you should give them a spray with the cool care or babyliss all in one spray

Great video man. I think the FX3 is a massive flop unfortunately. When I first got it I received a faulty one and got it replaced only for the next one to still suck. I had such high hopes for this because I had the previous model (X2). The torque is trash on it. The blade is too thin. I truly feel as though it's a downgrade from the previous model so I'm upset that they can't stay consistent. They knew it flopped and went right to a more popular model, hence the lo pro which is a babyliss magic clip. I am more interested in the lo pro however I wish they would just stay consistent. Who really wants a lower rpm/spm clipper? Or who really just wants a clipper for detailing? I mean these prices are outrageous 😳 and they perform really basic? I mean damn

For many years nobody was using Babyliss clippers or trimmers. Not at all. I've bought so many and even Forfex wasn't anything special. Seems the story has changed drastically

the @babyliss4barbers #fx3 is an amazing machine. so are the low pros. both have different styles and I would say the fx3 would be more for the advanced barbers.
Fx3 is awesome and definitely takes some getting used to!
