Kosem tried to lay a big load of guilt on Atike instead of using her usual method of yelling at the person who stands up to her. Kosem is far more guilty of being the reason why so many have died up to this point. But, it does look like Atike may have finally started to open her eyes when it comes to her mother's driven ambition to hold all the power.
This will eventually bite Atike as Sinan pasha was on the one that caused beyzat, Qasim and almost ibrahims death.

Sultan Murad informed Atike of Kosem, the real killer of Silahtar, her husband.
That she killed him and Farya like that, she has no authority to do that. Only sultan can. That’s why Atike saved Sinan Pasha. Not because she likes him but because Kosem went too far. Only Sultan Murad can execute people like that.
You do realize that she basically ran an entire empire? She can literally do basically almost anything that she wants.. that’s why she was the most powerful soltan out of the ottoman empire.. she was the first regent not to mentioned lived through the lives of many sultans even after her husband

Sad for you, Kosem. Your children are no longer your puppets, and your daughter and son, the Sultan, now see you for what you are: a power-hungry tyrant who will kill anyone who threatens your power. I can see why you ended the way you did; once again, NOBODY in your dumpster fire of a family is innocent.
Do you think she became power hungry in her lifetime as in the show? Or do you think she tried to lead for good and not power? It’s something I have always wondered since coming across the show and the information I was able to find.

@@alisaoliver1969 Sadly you are incredibly right. It crazy and sad how some people change and treat their children once they get power. I do remember reading that she had planned to have someone murdered and that person found out and that’s how she wound up getting murdered along with her supporters.
