I just picked up a Honda VFR1200X. Speedo , Waze and speeds signs on the road are all less than a mile per hour difference. My Kawasakis and Suzukis, not even close.
Thanks! I transformed it from a wanna-be "adventure bike" in its original factory trim into a very practical commuter and long-distance mile muncher. The MadStad adjustable windscreen, handlebar risers, and the hand guards made light years of difference in the usability and comfort of the machine. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

Trust me after working in the operating room for 37 years (now retired TG). Most people would be astonished to know the average cost per minute is about $75-$100. Hope your injuries are starting to abate somewhat.
That's a good question! I haven't ridden it in over 4 years, which was right before I started recording videos for CZcams. I have some old commute footage from ~10 years ago when I lived in the Cypress, TX area. That was in the early days of action cams w/ an old Sony HDR-AS15 that had ZERO image stabilization. That thing was just awful... it was always fogging up, wasn't waterproof, terrible audio, and it was mounted on top of my helmet. I'll see if I can dig up some of those archives and post them here... just for the cringe factor! 🤣👍 --QM
Oh, yeah... been there, done that. Adrian and I rode our little Super Cubs with the trailers thru that area after the 2021 Scooter Cannonball. We even tackled the big interstates (I-5 and I-210)... that was dicey! 😳 --QM
Must admit I get a laugh hearing your reaction to car drivers doing their usual stupid stuff around motorcyclists. Any plans to get another Hunter or are you sticking with the CB500x now?
I'm still trying to get my finances back in order, so I won't be getting any new bikes anytime soon. I would still like to get another Hunter 350, so maybe I can revisit that idea later this fall. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
