I represented Great Britain in the 1988 Summer Olympics as Captain of the Men's Freestyle Lighter Snaffle Team.
Despite taking on serious injuries early in the competition, we made it through to the final stage - but even with a [ still unmatched ] record of 61.0 Clippers in a single round, we were narrowly defeated in the tie-breaker by only 3.0 disposables & a Zippo - ultimately taking home silver medals as runners-up.
I had a friend who always had a lighter but neva ciggies...an of course everytime i asked 2 borrow..out of courtesy i wud offer him a ciggie...it oly hit home later y he so hastily asked 4 his lighter back immediately after i lit up

He’s a terrible performer , I can see how his tricks are done before I saw this video, they are not even original, seen the walking on Perspex, Angel, seen the bend back, Michael Jackson etc. Really lame tricks.

@@uknownm5994 what apparenty the "ice" is just a mechanic layer and moves up until it reaches his hands, and the "waterfall" always has the "ice" inside of it, so they stop the water from flooding so the ice becomes visible

Anyone could call his tricks out there and then on the spot if any of these explanations were other than just guesses someone would make if they had no idea.

Hi, Please read slowly: The bottle has a removable bottom, you can buy these in novelty stores. As was shown in the video, the stooges are in place for a reason, to assist in the tricks/magic. If a magician is well practiced they can have a "slight of hand" faster than the human eye can trace. It takes practice to convince an audience that the trick is real and it is successful if the magician can leave an audience scratching their heads asking "how did they do that?" The cables that elevate Dynamo are hidden by editing the video as said in the narrative. The camera angle gives the illusion Dynamo is higher than the buildings. You can do this at home with two poles: rig the wires or string onto two poles, attach an object you want to "levitate" but film it from the ground level angle as in the video. Because there is nothing in the background or foreground to compare it to, only sky, then the illusion is pulled off. Have you seen a moon so huge that it practically swallows up a forest yet when you drive out of the forest the moon is "small" again? It's all a matter of perspective. I watched a magician one, up close and personal pull grapefruit out of mid air. No sleeves, arms outstretched with my eyes glued to the trick. I didn't allow my eyes to be diverted to anywhere, my sole focus was the hands in front of me. This man pulled the grapefruit out of midair. If I hadn't witnessed it, I wouldn't believe it could be done but he did it. That was a practiced magician. In my opinion the word "magic" is interchangeable with "illusion." The trick, illusion, magic, whatever you want to call it is for entertainment. You wouldn't view a historic play and think of the actors as the real people, they are playing a role to give the illusion that they are the real characters to make it believable. That is why there are grammy's and oscars and other award shows for best actor/actress. I'm sure if you look it up there are awards for best magicians also. Sit back and enjoy the show, let it be what it is, "fantasy will set you free."

This is what magic actually is, for me. Being able to move so quickly and have something so amazing planned, for a couple of minutes of performance. If you think about it, if it really were magic, it wouldn't even be that impressive. Just like an ability he was born with and just displaying it for others to see. When there's so much work involved, the respect should be higher.
