Excited to see the next Pogcast
That helbrecht impersonation in the beginning was on point haha I literally laughed out loud 😂
My dudes.. i think the second founding chapter you guys were thinking of is the Excoriators. And the one you forgot was Fists Exemplar.. Heres..I mean, Lorecrime!
Lorecrime: Commited.
@@lorecrimes I have two questions:
1. Can you guys contact Adeptus Ridiculous to do a collaboration in the future?
2. I accidentally found something cool on 1d4chan: a Transformers/40K crossover project complete with rules and even an entire page of lore/events in a timeline (even if some of the dates and spelling are iffy). Can you check it out and give your opinion?
@@akumaking1 I saw bits of that. One of those bits was apparently during the crusade where big E bullies the shit out of both prime and Megatron, makes sense given he's a god but holy shit that is still gangsta as fuck if true.
We do not talk about the first exemplar.
Don't forget the 21st "cursed" founding chapter, the brown fists. Last I heard, they became slaanesh worshippers, but you can never tell for sure with those cursed legions.
Oh the custodes who delivered the primaris was also absolutely murdered by the Black Templars. They were that crazy that they killed one of the golden guardians of the emperor
Minor correction, Sigismund was anointed champion by the Emperor. The original Black Sword was a gift from the Emperor, by way of Malcador, and is implied to have sat in the vaults for millennia, waiting for its rightful wielder. I don't think that an endorsement can come much stronger than that.
Lore Crime: Astropaths are blind dream interpreters, it's the navigators who have the forehead third eye!
There are two things missing:
1. TTS references
2. The Stringstorm song “Purging with my kin” playing in the background
No one mentioned rogal dorns colossal chainblade when mentioning the sword of dorn, big sad
Woo!!! Linkin Loyalist!!!
Black Templars: hates everybody, sometimes rude
Marines Malevolent: hold my beer
The Black Templars, Dorn most loyal sons, no fear, no pity, no remors
ps, i have a model of Fafnir Ran on my shelf
Can we all just agree that if sigismund is going to return in the modern setting, he should as the first ever living saint space marine?
(Oh and the remembrancer will recognise this because I commented this exact thing on his black templars video, highly recommend it by the way)
Duuuude.. Abby would piss his pants
@@andybkhound what's hilarious is the first reply I got on the remembrancers video with this exact comment was literally abaddon shitting himself. Meaning the joke responses have come full circle in terms of bodily waste comparisons.
@@guywholikesmemes4993 🤣🤣Abbadon the Soiler at his best
Actually judging by the articles about Armageddon in the codexes and core rule book, grimaldus may end up being the first living saint of the Astartes, due to a number of cults rising there that worship Grimaldus after the third war of Armageddon
that’s a good one for first saint space marine. I’d probably go with Rylanor, Garro, Garveil, or Saul Tarvitz
Oh! Since we’re talking Sons of Dorn…
Celestial Lions could definitely use some love from the crowd.
Grimaldus: 'I don't want it.'
My one complaint is that I have to wait so long between installments. 😊 Keep up the excellent work! I need more!
In the aspect of the Black Templars being the most common space marine a imperial citizen will see, wouldn't they be one of if not the best chapter to show the people the EMPEROR is a god in the 40,000 milliuium
6:24 It’s funny that taking eliminators with Las Fusil isn’t a bad idea for the Black Templars
Could you do a podcast on the lamenters at some point as those guys need more love? Loving the podcast and so glad I randomly stumbled across this.
The "Black Templars Chapter" should be Black Templar's CHAPTERS" as that is how they circumvent the codex, each marshall is the equivalent of a chapter master, while the High Marshall just has the recognition of the rest of the Marshalls
They actually circumvent the Codex, as a Chapter can wave away the 1k tops restriction of they are on Crusade.
The Black Templars are on multiple crusades at all times
I always love it when the Tubers of the Emperor colab for a thing.
It’s like some of the greatest crossovers we as fans could ask for.
This is what I love about 40k. You can have a faction this off the walls and it just works. Plus their aesthetic is top tier.
I can’t express how much I love this new channel. Adeptus Ridiculous got me into 40k. The Amber King got me into the books (I listen to his videos to fall asleep now) and now this channel give me a good laugh and some lore :)
Dude check A Border Prince for more long form vids to sleep to and Lord BalderMort
And the mention of squash makes me miss the UK dearly! Blackcurrant Ribena will always have a special place in my heart haha.
being a newbie to Warhammer 40k makes this podcast both pretty informative and as a bonus pretty funny!
We're totally codex compliant! We just have lots of neophytes
Seeing a Monty Python reference in a Warhammer podcast is an experience I'm gonna be honest but I'm not complaining.
Those Helbrecht and Grimaldus impressions were perfect. It felt like I was watching the Helsreach animation.
Love the Black Templar's in 40K they are not my favorites over the Blood Angels or Dark Angels but they are right there with the White Scars.
Can't wait!!!🔥🤟
Yes, but they aren't my beloved Alpha Legion.
Or are they?
I really enjoyed this fellas. Looking forward to more!
45:02 if GW wanted to be more on the nose, they would have called it "The Blade of the Seventh Son of a Seventh Son of a Seventh Son..."
This is my new favorite 40k podcast. I hope you guys make it onto Apple Podcasts so I can listen as I exercise. I often got navigators and astropaths mixed up, navigators are the ones who have incest noble houses and the third eye that’s supposed to be, according to the Night Lords Trilogy, one of the most painful ways to die.
I love nerds with too much time on their hands
As I like your podcast here and everything you discussed there. There are another Gloriana battleships in the imperium. I think the novamarines have one.
This was funny.
I liked.
I am still waiting for the Horus Heresy Blackshields or 40K Renegades or Soul Drinkers.
Hahahah spot on 😂.
Thank you guys! I'm digging these 😁👍
I think I may be wrong, but the sword of Dorn is a power sword he’d used during the great crusade, not Storm’s teeth.
Helbrect won in the end by driving Imhotek Flagship into a sun after he got a rematch and vengeance for his chopped off hand
That intro had me crying, fantastic!!!
3 days old and im just now getting to this
Great episode lads, thanks for the vid
Can you guys do the same with the grey knights ?
I still remember when they released Fall of Cadia that I was so excited for they finally have something for the Black Templars in quite a long time. And Celestine and Guilliman's return might mean Dorn's return. And then Game Workshop introduce primaris even to the Black Templars I was like "This is heretic!" and "Girlyman the filfty userper". Thats the last time I heard anything about 40k untill now.
The Ultramarines, Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Salamanders, Iron Fists, and the rest are cool and all, but *no one* is cooler than the Black Templars. They are by far and away my favorite army in 40K though closely followed by Abaddon and his Black Legion of Chaos Space Marines. Then Grey Knights, Death Guard, and the Adepta Sororitas round out my Top Five.
For Dorn and the Imperium! For the Emperor of Mankind and for the Templars! NO PITY! NO REMORSE! NO FEAR!
if you don't know or like Ribena then you are a Heritic😅😅😅. Great video
You nailed the voices 🤣
I thought that "Firstborn" referred to the original Terran-born space marines. Are there none (or just an insignificant amount) left?
I love the based templars. Favorite chapter.
“No pity! No remorse! No fear!”
Another Lorecrime for the books: The Deathwatch are the Astartes of the Ordos Xenos. Xenos is the one that kills aliens while hereticus handle internal threats.
Also loving the content (Tyranid video when👉👈)
I think we need hellbreicht plushies to be a thing
So will this podcast eventually go on to other streaming services
Plans are in motion to see to this 💪
@@lorecrimes let’s gooo
@@lorecrimes our lorecrimes shall spread
thanks
You didn’t say how it is a reference to Monty Python! It’s called the holy handgranade OF ANTIOCH!
Kaleb Arin is such a gigachad
btw... I would say the Black Templars are more a mix of Imperial Fists, World Bearers, World Eaters and Black Legion. Back in the days of 3rd edition they were much more close bonded to World eaters. The devotion chains, hate on psykers, aggression and their honor of close combat.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Could you do a video on the Farsight Enclaves?
Lorecrime! The Nemesis Chapter has a Gloriana class BB.
44:00 lorecrime
DA still have the Invincible Reason
They got two excuses to have more 1000 space marines 1 infinite crusade 2 many many mini chapters that work under 1 high Marshall
Black Templars are my favorite because I like Chaplains and Black Templars turn Chaplains up to 11. Just wonderful zealous murder speeches on your way to battle and during battle.
Hopefully, this version of Sigmund doesn't have a kid with his sister.
:)
I’m a bit confuse of this channel is an lore channel with other warhammer CZcamsrs or what
Yep
Hold on: Abbadon...in Peckham??
47:56 Trazyn gonna add some Black Templars to his collection.
Sigusmund would have been the bestest Emperor's Children Captain and I argue would have kept Fulgrim from falling...though that means Jaghatai Khan would have then most likely friendlied up with Perturabo and chosen the Third Path...Dad's NOT a God but IS a dick and mankind has no need for some huge over arching "Imperium". And those 2, easily the most Competent save Robot Girlyman, would have been the most amazing Renegade Force saying Fuck Chaos and Fuck Dad, let's burn this shit down.
Even though I picked ultramarines for my space may army Black Templars are my second favorite I just don't like their Primarch
Correction:
Castellans are Lieutenant Equivalents
Marshalls are Captain Equivalents.
Since the 8th-9th edition retcons.
Black Templars? more like Chad Templars
Why do all peope call castellan the equivalent to a Captain? Or did they completely forget that lieutenants exist?. High Marshall is the equivalent to a chapter master, Marshall is the equivalent to Captain, and castellan is the equivalent to a Lieutenant.
Maybe it is my easier to tell in 10th edition sense castellans literally have the lieutenant keyword and Marshalls have the Captain keyword and they even share there iconic abilities.
It is kind of funny hearing primaris speculation and in hindsight knowing that now in the lore 90% of firstborn have converted to primaris sense 10th edition takes place in the 42nd and not the 41st millennium. Even chapters with known hatred such as the dark angels and black templars and flesh Tearers are most now all primaris.
I hate abaddon only survived because of bullshit hacks
1:10:25 Abhor the witch, destroy the witch
1:12:07 Uphold the honor of the emperor
1:12:42 Accept any challenge, no matter the odds
1:13:25 Suffer not the unclean to live
I just have to say only humans have human rights
Everyone knows the BTs are remnants of the Lost Legions! ;)
Lol sounds like these black Templar guys made extremism a competitive sport
Castellans are lieutenant rank not captains, captain are marshalls
You can't transfer it that easily, they do it that way for game reasons alone. But Lore wise it makes no sense.
Becouse a Cpt. usually is in command of a company, a BT Marshall usually commands several hundred up to 1,000 Marines.
A Marshal is therefore usually in command of significantly more armed forces than a Cpt. and is also substantially more self-sufficient in his actions from the rest of the Chapter than a Cpt. is.
*random mechanical keyboard clicks*
Black Templar has somewaht simliar to Seargeants...just sayin.
i really ont like the Black templars and there hypocracy .
Black Templars: Chiefs of racism
You are reading this and you're not hearing it you're going to have to pretend like you're hearing it and it is seeped and drenched in good-natured friendly either repetitive minis or intense testosterone pill role-playing but what are all these fake names on here and at the beginning of this thing I can't even listen to anything else cuz I'm confused I'm just going to have to pretend like I'm a major kills comment section I'm getting snort some space Coke or space meth so I can figure out who's who here but nonetheless you guys tickle my ears and my never ending Cavern void if you will hunger for this wonderful world which I believe really doesn't start on Tara I think it starts on Gallifrey
I disagree with the whole they need to be as awful as they are.
Pancreas no work, I almost forgot, I saw you simping for a Vtuber.
