- Hi and welcome to Wrong Way! Today we review the GotWay Msuper Pro Electric Unicycle! Did you ever feel like you need more torque, acceleration and hill climb performance on your wheel? Well the GotWay MSP is a true Monster on on One Wheel in terms of performance! Not like the Monster in terms of comfort but a Monster like an animal! We test acceleration, top speed and features of the EUC which might leave InMotion and King Song far behind! It also has custom sidepads mounted! The 100V system with 21700 cells and 2500W motor is a true beast! Also,, the twin T6 diode illuminate the night nicely!

5:20 Actually correct is:
The used 21700 cells LG50M are not having a better Performance, in contrary, they have a lower 7,3amp Rating, ok, in reality and tests it is then the same 10amp capable than the 18650 Sanyo GA.
But then Comes the parallel packs into Count...as on the 21700 MSPro there are only 4Parallel packs, you get a 40Amp max, while on a 1845wh Version 18650 is 6Parallel and can go with 60Amps, without getting into trouble. They also can not be charged at a faster rate without loosing longevity, and then again here also Comes the less parallel packs into Play.
So what is left is: To use those cells makes it cheaper for Gotway, as they only have to use 96 instead of 144 cells at 4bucks to reach About 1800/1845wh.
And no...it are no Samsung or Panasonic "Tesla" cells inside, These "Tesla" cells are a total myth and are NOT used in our EUC(actually there is no cell with 5000mah exisiting, which is higher than 10Amp! The ones that HAVE a higher amperage have just About 4000mah, that would then only work out to 1500WH in the MSPro, AND These high amperage cells are MUCH to expensive anyway).
So Inisde the GW MSPro are LG50M 5000mah inside, which are rated at 7,3 Amp :-), as said….Tests have shown they can do 10Amp. But thats it....
Just to be clear:
!!!The MSPro is Performing great, thats no Question!!!
Just mentioned the above to clear up some rumours…..
The biggest thing I learned here is that I will never rent you my wheel ;) Nice going up the stairs, first time I see that. Holy cow!

What an awesome video (and channel). Really appreciate all the work you put into this. Amazing review and testing! Those climbs are insane! I have done some 26 degree off road climbs on the 16X that the MSX / 18XL and Tesla riders were not able to handle for various reasons. Looks like the MSP is the new king here!

Old msx also can do 40 degree hill. The key factors are comfortable pads and a tire with a good grip.

The foot plates are angled that’s why they feel smaller, but they are the same size of the Nikola pads, personally I don’t mind it unless I’m on longer rides.

MSPro/MsX to koło 19,5-calowe, a nie żadna 18. Wystarczy zmierzyć rozmiar koła z oponą - 49,5cm. Jeśli już zaokrąglać to bliżej mu do 20 niż 18 cali :)
Większość zalet MSP odnosi się równie dobrze do MSX, to ta sama konstrukcja. Gdyby założyć do msx takie same pady boczne (pozwalające mocniej docisnąć koło w przód i tym samym poprawiające przyspieszenie, oraz mocniej trzymać je podczas podjazdów) to i tam byłoby dużo radości. Szkoda że testowałeś MSX z fabrycznymi padami a MSP z akcesoryjnymi, mocno podnoszącymi osiągi. Trochę nierówne takie porówanie...
MSP/MSX mają to samo koło, taką samą stabilność, odporność na złe drogi, podobny zasięg i wygodę jazdy. Również na MSX da się podjechać pod wzniesienia których nie był w stanie pokonać KS18xl, co pokazywał w swoim filmie KujuRolls.
Może przestestowałbyś same takie pady również do innych monocykli - takie coś można zamontować w każdym kole, dając mu zupełnie nowe możliwości. Przydałby się też omówienie gdzie to można dostać.

I’m a bit surprised. I was able to get a top speed of 68 kph on my Nikola plus 100V. And the MSP can’t go above 65 kph? Or am I wrong? I’m seriously considering getting this MSP because of the superb torque from reviews.

Yes charging at 2c on a 21700 is possible.
But don’t go above 1c charge rate.
You’ll be shaving 100’s of charge cycles off your battery just charging at 1c as it is.

Great video but you made dangerous mistake talking about the battery. You can't charge it with 3kWt charger. Each cell can handle only 0.5C of current (C is the cell's capacity). Higher currents are possible only with active cooling. Don't advise such things to your viewers, please. It can cause a fire.

Would you tell me what's the difference between MSX 100V and this MSP?
MSP is faster, correct? Is heavier? Has more range?
Of course it has two front lights and the stop spin button (that's cool)
MSP is slower in terms of top speed. Range is similar and msx does not have a speaker. Msp has more torque :)

40 degrees! Even the inmotion v11 is set to climb 30 degrees with a 3000W motor! I guess the V11 will go up short 40 degrees hills as well in reality. 😉
Its a 2000W motor. 3000W is peak. MSP has a 5000W peak motor
What pads do you have on your msp?
I just purchased the msx. I was waiting for a much improved msx but lower top speed.
Would you recommend this wheel for going up moderately steep hiking & mountain biking trails or would a 16" like the Nikola or 16X be a better idea better agility?
I think MSP is more stable and has a bit more torque. Otherwise 100v Nikola ;)

My lights stopped working after a week 😔
I see your shell is already separating under the headlight... that’s because the motor is too wide for the shell and puts a ton of stress on the lowest shell bolts. They really cheaped out in terms of the shell design. The axle is also ultra thin on the hollow motor wires side, and there have already been multiple failures. So close to being a good wheel but GotWay tripped at the finish line.
