I'd love to see a 2nd range test, but with blasting along as fast as is reasonable - giving the minimum range you could expect from the wheel. Then we would have an accurate idea of what the range can be from the least range riding fast to the most range riding conservatively.

I weigh 250lbs or 113kg and I get 60miles or 96kmph down to 10% battery of hard riding on mine.
Usually averaging 30mph or 48kmph. (A lot of high speed cruising)
However wind speed can have massive impact at these speeds.
You could easily get 20 more miles with a strong tailwind.

Really the range of a PEV should be 2 or maybe 3 values - from x to y with an expected typical range of z. Usually they give one value and we just figure that is probably the very best you could get under ideal conditions. I'd rather know x, y & z so that I could estimate what would be likely for me. On my RS I get ~65km if I ride 35-40kph - but I didn't know that number until I tried it out.
This video is good because we now know that riding at a gentle 30kph you can go over 200km on this wheel, I would guess that you could ride at quite decent speeds and still get well over 100km on a charge - that's pretty good!

I mean... Technically he'd need to do infinite range tests.
The range depends not only on speed, but the terrain. If the terrain is flat, no problem. But what if hilly and bumpy?

Also how many amps or watts can you put through that motor (5-10seconds peaks)???

I was blown away by the range you got on the Monster! I have a question: I think I'm ready to get on an EUC but after months of watching videos it's really hard to make a choice about which EUC would be good for me to start with. I've seen your video on picking the first EUC but my thoughts are in a different direction. I'm in search of the ultimate EV device which is capable of delivering over 100 miles of range with moderate riding.
I know it's not recommended but I seriously want to start my experience with either the Sherman or the Monster. I'm 6'4 and around 226 lbs with my gear and I want a machine that doesn't struggle to handle my size. Also, I'm not rich so I can't afford to get an EUC just to learn how to ride, only to long for an upgrade later.
I've been trying to find a source for a used EUC to learn how to ride but the prices were outside of my budget and almost the equivalent of buying a new one. Any feedback or recommendations you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Things in Poland seem to be more well cared for than in the US. Sidewalks, bridges, walkways, stairs..... all in good order. Not here.

Over 130+ miles in one go.... your kidding me. Big batteries for power so you don't overpower a wheel maybe, but for range like that - I don't think so. Perhaps a video of what state you are in ( I'm likely to be in) having ridden that distance without opportunity to recharge. No intention of finding out even on my 16X.

Wyprzedzanie tych tirow poboczem z ich prawej akurat bylo troche ryzykowne - oni na bank Cie tam nie widzieli a mogli odbic w prawo na pobocze zeby zobaczyc jak dlugi korek czy cos...

I think I would get bored and also a sore lower back from all that range. ... If I were to own a one wheel it be mostly for a work commute just to avoid traffic.

The difference related with GPS it depends on wheel diameter so depends on tire pressure.

Thankyou for begining to refer to the "EUC" as a Motor-wheel, this is actually a very big deal, because only vehicles belong on the road, but also this is the correct terminology. By naming correctly it is the first step to legalisation and being able to ride at a good head of speed. This type of new device will require considerable effort to be passed as a vehicle and much more to become road legal, but a journey starts with one day. Finally I would like to add for those of you the use electric skateboards on the road and would like to ride legally consider renaming to a "Quad Motor-Board".
