lana is one of the greatest and most influential artists of the 21st century. her songwriting and distinct style put her leagues above her peers. her music has impacted and pervaded the music scene of today in every avenue.
Heyyy, love your reactions! So, the thing about Lana is that all of her work is autobiographical -- which might shock ppl at first, cause this dark atmosphere makes things kind of uncomfortable sometimes lol. But this is her, this is her life! She's been through a lot during her life, so I think u should know this: at a very young age before fame, she was seduced into a cult thing... the leader (a man) would tell the girls that they "must be fixed" -- but, in order to do so, he (the leader) needed to "break" them girls first. That was a lot of psychological abuse (not to mention physical as well). The way she found to cope with this (and many others) trauma was making poems, and transforming them into beautiful music. I mean, we're talking about past so far! You see, most songs u listen from her were released 10/11/12 years ago. Now she's living a whole different life -- she's happy (said herself when accepting 2023's Billboard Women in Music visionary award). Well, just a piece of information hahaha! Keep doing what you're doing, it makes me happy (thx for that) :)
