No because after a while it should lock up the engine after revving alot because to much gas is goin through the carburetor and the fuel pump puts the ammount of gas that rhe fourwheeler needs
i have strange problem with my polaris, it runs great without fuel pump but when i put everything like it should be it cant run on idle and carb is flooded with gas so it backfires and die

will the 4 wheeler run without a fuel pump ? I just bought a sportsman 500 and the pump has been removed ..it runs but not great , what do you think ?
