Where did you get the part? I did the same thing. Had a bad battery. Put the new one in the same way the original was. Didn't realize the terminals were on opposite side. Fried something and have been trying to figure out what. What does ECM stand for and where did you get yours?

So it was recalled but was okay before you fried it? Or is there just a replacement now because they no longer make the older model?
If this quad over heats and you can’t turn off the over heat light ? You do the same thing to fix it.
Mine starts on the pull starter but just turns over with the key. Runs fine, but wont start with key. What are your thoughts on that?

I want to know when connected the ECM Module the plug the have the three pins does it matter how it goes cuz I try both ways it fit that same ?

Get to the point. Don't care about the back story and hold the camera still.
If it fails again, just run it without it.
