Luxury Activist Are the scales just glued on? No screws holding them secure? Thank you.

      Marc Kant agree....waaaaaayyy overpriced

@@socialghost4400 well, I wouldn't say so. It's a large tool with an expensive leather pouch. $150 for such a tool doesn't look cheap but not something over the top either. Anyway I don't see the point in buying such a thing to open $5 wines. If you drink fine wines, that price shouldn't be a problem for you.

@@i.o.3563 For me personally, I wouldn't use this to open fine wines. I think this is more of a picnic knife which is why I think it's a tad over priced. Older vintages with dried out corks tend to do better with a very precise locking double lever function. Not that this looks bad, the two step lever looks pretty standard but sturdy. However, there are defiantly much, much better wine openers, with higher quality finishing for the price.....BUT they don't have a nice knife for cutting meats and cheeses.

@@i.o.3563 I would rather not have the pouch and have more functionality.

@@RP-dy5mu what more functionality? This isn't a swiss knife, that's a different kind of tool that already has more than deeded.
