- Willow moss will add a natural lush green look to any aquarium, and provide shelter for all kinds of microorganisms, shrimps and fish fry. In my area this beautiful plant can be collected in the wild.
Hope you enjoy the video, featuring red cherry shrimp, breeding Kribensis, Cynolebias, guppy, limia, bristlenose pleco, Fundulopanchax gardneri, tiger barbs and other fish and shrimps from my aquarium room.
Why you want willow moss:
• Provides refuge and food for small fish and shrimp
• Can be attached to rocks, wood, filters or be left free growing
• Low light requirements

• Temperature: 59° - 82° F (15° - 28° C)
• pH: 5.5 - 7.5
• Lighting requirements: Low to moderate
• CO2 fertilizing isn’t a must

I absolutely hate videos with background "musics" and usually don't press like button, but the time i pressed: very very nice film, info and approach.
I'm glad you did. Thanks a lot. Cheers, Michael :0)
I ❤mosses!!! Thank you for the info on the lovely Willow Moss!!
Who doesn't B.J. Thanks for your feedback. Cheers, Michael :0)
Beautiful video, capturing this lovely plant. I am really enjoying your channel. Keep sharing!
Thanks a lot my friend. I will do that occasionally. Cheers, Michael :0)
Great video. I recently acquired a huge amount of willow moss that has turned brown but I know it will recover. You have beautiful aquariums and those killis are stunning. I’m not sure what the small colorful fish that appears was but it was absolutely beautiful. Welcome to CZcams. I will look forward to seeing more from you!
Thanks a lot for your kind feedback. With clean water, light and a bit of love I'm sure your willow moss will turn green again. The small fish you refer to might be Endler's guppy (Poecilia Wingei). I will check out your channel as well :0)
@@MichaelJensensAquarium I have some willow moss too(found it in a pond in Greece) and there are some brown spots.
Does the brown spots turn green again or just it sprout new leaves?
@@user-wx9pf6ip4h I think the different populations of Willow Moss act a bit different. On some of my plants, everything is green most of the time. On others from different lakes it seems, that old growth has a tendency to turn brown, but the plants keep producing new green growth as well. If part of your plants has green growth - they will recover. Hope that turns out well. Cheers, Michael :0)
What is the name of the little stripped fish with blue eyes
Hi. I think the one you mean must be the Clown Killifish, Epiplatys annulatus. Cheers, Michael :0)
Good video. I found the way you spoke really comical, like you were parodying yourself, keep it pimp
Thanks a lot... I think ;) Cheers, Michael :0)
What is that fish @ 1:19
Hi TD, that's a Clown Killi (Pseudoepiplatys annulatus). I am breeding this species at the moment. A video on that will be up during the coming months, so remember to subscribe if you haven't already ;0) Have a nice weekend, Michael
Michael Jensen's Aquarium hey that’s awesome!
