Good to know no one has messed with your gym locker. I'm sure you don't keep anything super valuable in a gym locker, but still lol. As they say, "Locks only keep honest people honest."
I had nothing of value in there but I appreciate that now one messed with it as well.
I just wanted to say thank you for your lockpicking tutorials. I just got started lockpicking about a week ago and have spent this last week or so trying to pick locks unsuccessfully... that is until I started watching your instructional videos. I had watched some other instructional videos by other lockpicking youtubers but they were not nearly as good at explaning lockpicking to a completely inexperienced lockpicker like myself as you were. I watched your first instructional video only yesterday and thanks to your instructions and advice I was able to successfully pick my first two locks today... my first, a basic Master laminated lock and my second, a Brinks round disc padock. I'm not having any success yet with a couple of Wilson Bohannan locks and an American lock, but it's just a matter of more time, practice and learning which of my new picks are my best pick choice.
Great little video. One of my favorite little locks to walk around picking. I've got several of them. The spools are more prominent in some more than others.
Thank you for the kind words and for checking it out! It is a funny little way to open this lock
I have an Ace hardware version of this lock. I'm new to the field and have a nice kit. I can open other locks, but this one is giving me issues. It's new and works great with the keys. So it's not the lock. I feel the clicks, but I cannot get the lock to open, for two weeks now I still cannot open the locks. You, of course, made it look easy. There must be something I'm missing, besides lack of skill.
Nice to know comb pick , thanks moe
Always great to see a HLP video 👍 I hope all is well and see ya in the next one 🔐.
Thank you. All is well. I am trying to set aside some more time to make videos. I look forward to getting back into it more.
I really enjoyed this video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome. Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for watching!
I do like comb rakes, wafer jigglers, city rakes, tr6 out keys etc f9rva quick open but none as are satisfying as the SPP for me as a hobbyest. Taught t my wife how to jiggle wafers in 5 minutes. Good to see you about again HLP. Take care fella🤜🤛😁👍
Thank you for sharing. For me, open is open but a good old fashioned SPP is always a good feeling.
Just like that! That is what I like!
Thanks for checking it out :)
I noticed that you are left-hand. Any tips for us left-hand pickers?
I have made a few videos on it but you just sort of need to learn to deal with it. The hardest part for me was learning how to hold the lock with TOK. It is not comfortable but it works. Feel free to send me an email if you have any specific questions or issues
@@HelpfulLockPicker thanks
Nice!! Good to see you.
🐈🐾🐈⬛🐾
Thanks for the visit
hi I wanted to ask you if above the peterson picks they still put the stamp at the base of the iron, in the past it was broken at that point since the metal at that point was quite thin. do they still apply it nowadays? thanks from Italy
I have not bought any in about 4 years so I am truly not sure
I have the same TOK tensioner. New to the game so I don't have any locks that are combable.
Is your wrench too thick or too thin? It works with many locks
@@HelpfulLockPicker I meant none of mine currently can be opened with a comb
The longer I have done locksport the more I think about how the lock industry make their locks with flaws on purpose and try pretend known exploits are not known. We need to make these exploits public knowledge so that they are forced to stop making locks with these old exploits.
I agree, this should be fixed. It is now even a hard fix. The need to find some motivation to make their locks a little bit worth owning.
I think I have a few of these lying around.
They are fun to play around with. It is funny to see all the ways they can be opened lol
I dont know how to use the hook and how to choose the good size can you help please ?
I would watch my Lock Picking Home School series
Where can I get one of those?
Sparrow lock picks
Master locks dilemma.... This shows the lock from two sides of a coin.
Basically chose the lock that fits not only the security level but the environment.
Clever video HLP.
Thank you for checking it out. Master lock is always fun to poke fun at, lol.
What happens when all 4 are springy? Seriously I’m not joking total newbie also why don’t I hear the clicks?
Bra-Vo 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you for your kind word and support.
So you have a new job?
I have multiple jobs this just one that I left
Good ol' Masterlock. The least apt name for a product ever.
It's pretty much an inside joke in the locksport and security industry. At this point, I feel like they've just embraced the fact that they're the laughing stock of the lock industry, lol. There have only been a select few Master locks that are actually decent and take more than a few seconds to pick open.
Thanks for checking it out. It is funny how it is an easy fix and a well-known flaw and they don't do anything to fix it.
