Mainz is one of my favourite cruisers, I did something similar to this guy on the same map, managed to sail into the B cap and hold it against 4 enemy ships.

My luck against Mainz usually ends in me getting triple fired in 2 salvos damage coning and immediately getting double fired again I hate facing this ship so much

I had a sick game in the plymouth. Had a richie rush me. Used my smoke screen faked left then turned off my secondaries and cut back right. His guns were looking the wrong way and bam does that British AP hurt. I almost sent that game in to @spartanelite43

Spartan was watching your Collingwood video from a few months ago I'm in a dilemma on what ship to buy as the British battleships are on offer which do you recommend Nelson Collingwood good or monarch
While the tier 6s can be fun the easiest ship to play of the 3 would be Monarch.

They are used on pc, not sure about legends.

The Mainz in Europe is a tier 8 why would that be different to America could it be a stronger ship or extras going with it or do they realise it should be up in that tier???
This is Legends it is the console version of WoWs so not the same tech trees and such
Can someone tell me a damn good commander build for the Mainz?
I run Karl von Muller with beyond range, igniter, punch through, fixated, fully packed, kuznetsov as inspiration and some other commander that buffs the reload or something. Prob not the best build but that’s what I run
Yes range builds are best on cruisers to best dodge incoming shells.
I've been running a Lutjens agility build on mine and it works great.
