just came back from a trip around Europe and in Italy its was a shame to see the streets were covered with mindless graffiti which takes the shine off the incredible streets and buildings. So to see how beautifully kept the streets and how people take pride in making their city beautiful in Morocco is great to see. My advise to you if you happen to go to a Hammam is first make sure to get a Kassel (A person who tends to you and does the body scrubbing) Usually, they are not expensive ( I believe you pay them like 20 Dirhams or something like that. Sorry I haven't been there for a long time) And just go with the flow. Oh yeah, also enjoy

I share your point of view and go with the flow curiosity. Drives my friends in Marin crazy so I just explore silently with you that way they dont have to put up with me, nor I with them! I too have traveled internationally for business over the decades and have lived in the EU and Middle east and lead a software company with developers throughout the EU. And like you, I especially like the Greek Island, Patmos for example. Happy to see Morocco and happy you made it in/out! "Life begins at the end of your comfort zone"! If you're hanging in Marin, happy to connect for meals! Regards,

Had to laugh when you said, "I really want to do a hammam. I've never actually been in one, I don't think" Trust me, if you had ever been in/done a hammam you would most definitely have remembered as itis an unforgettable experience!!!

You have encountered many hammans over the course of your travels in Morocvo, Turkey, etc. why do you think you chose to not go to one?

It's an unforgettable experience, once you tried you want to do it again. You might need some locals help for first time.
