The noise of bend rods in that sprinter hurt me haha
Worse than nails on chalkboard
@@Xenon777_ when you have mechanical sympathy yes haha
Finish him, start again!!!!!))))))
Hah yeah. Make me wince 😲
lmao ewan
"We protect what matters" Except our own engine....
Nice to see the Mercedes sprinters back to business as usual lol
Never thought I’d be spending Saturday morning watching cars get hydro-locked.
not a bad choice of activity TBH - it's refreshing to see that moronic people are still in majority out there
and yet looks like so much fun watching idiots at work wrecking cars
I’m still amazed and shocked by these no matter how many I watch
Same thing here...
It's more like who can f it up worse.
Yes! 👍🇦🇺
I mean there's a clear water level marker which is saying it's nearly 2ft deep but so so many people still drive in like it's a 1 inch puddle 🤦
same here.
I’m amazed that some of these vehicles made it through. Still an insane risk to take
If done properly, almost all modern vehicle can ford.
In Iceland I saw cars like fiesta going through deeper river because locals know how to properly cross water.
The BMW at 4:40 is the right technique.
not risky at all if you drive slowly! 1st gear and just release the clutch. the water is not that high but if you drive to fast a wave above the waterline builds up and water is pushed into the intake. Driving slow = no wave = no water in engine. if you are unsure how high your intake is just pop the hood and have a look
@@grumbazor yeah or just drive around the long way
@@MrJohnQCitizen Yep, there is a bridge about 1km away! xD
Loving the recoveries with a shoelace 😂
was thinking the same thing !!!
Yet the shoelace held, it was the towing eye wasn't in properly that popped out.
Lucky the towing eye didn't snap back & damage the pickup.
The moment I saw the rain, I knew this was going to be a good one.
Absolutely nuts that anyone would consider driving through that. Honestly, I would just turn around if I came across that and look for an alternative route.
Naw, just use sense. If you have a low airbox, disconnect it, route the intake hose up and wade through, pull over, make sure box drains, reconnect and continue on with your life
Only a 3km go around, I checked on Google maps.
@@goclunker I’ll just take the scenic route instead!
@@wordreet ... Or maybe 3miles, we are in the UK.
@@Tidybitz Google maps showed metres when I checked.
Ouch that van slapping sound and the mind boggles with ones that push their luck lol 😂
Double engine wrecking, first time I've seen two happening simultaneously!
Bye bye engine on that white van 😂
Fresh food specialists? Might have gone off by the time that sprinter is fixed!
Also, the first car driver did not want to get wet!
That call to the boss, I've wrecked the van and it's on CZcams, priceless (p45 issued)
Hallo boss? It's michael. I have a problem.
Remember the time, when Britannia ruled the waves
1:57 thats it love pull it along by the door handle 😂
So glad i learned back when i was 17 that engines had air intakes and dont fill them with water. When i want to go in the water, i take the boat
So deep, amazed so many of these people actually tried this and equally amazed at some of the ones that made it through 😮
and if you figure out why some make it through you learn something
High Water!!! Cheers Ben from Raleigh, NC-US
What a great way to start the week.
Can't believe that some of them made it away unscathed
That Leivers van went toast twice!
Might as well ruin the bonnet while we're at it !
4:40 finally the right technique.
Rode the bow wave and kept a slow and steady pace.
the right technique is to take the route without the water, or use a boat 🤔
@@hikerwoody182 that's the best technique but if you must ford, that's how it should be done.
The chap in the sprinter... That's one phone call you don't want to make to your boss... #p45.. 😂🤣☎️💰
D-D-D-D-Double kill!!!
1.05 brillent sound ,thats finnished it off , keep up the good work ben
Nice and deep👍🌧️
Wow, she values her Sports Direct, cheap tracksuit bottoms more than the bonnet of the Merc she's walking all over.... How does that happen?
That car goes straight to the scrapyard, so it does not matter how ruined the bonnet is.
Oof the final noises coming from that sprinter were horrifying.
The fresh food specialist lunching the engine.
All those crunchy sounds.. rods snapped like celery
I bet his boss was well pleased!
@@andyliv78 you spelled pissed wrong lol
The sprinter drivers says his van is pretty much empty…..just like the space in his head😂
😂 that is DEEP
been a while since the ford was that high
“I name these ships.. Twatty McTwat face” 🤦🏻💦
Visiting this place is definitely on by bucket list now...
I saw another video and they said the bypass around the ford is only adds a extra mile to your drive. It’s insane people rather completely destroy theirs cars than drive a extra mile.
Knew the sprinter was toast, stupid where they put the air intake duct on those!!
Damn, what a great place to go and buy auto salvage! 🤔
The first one, she’d rather walk over the bonnet than get her feet wet? 🙄
I was told she got assaulted by one of these who filmed it.
@@trog8035 bruh, what
@@trog8035 the verbal nonsense they come out with is just as annoying.
Typical chicken brain woman
0:25 glad that story had an happy ending. No wet socks at all
not long till 100k well done
Isn't that the first beemer that has ever made it? 😂 😂 😂
Was deep today too after my brief visit
👏👏👏👏👏LOVE THE SHOW 👏👏👏👏👏
Looks great in 4k HDR - thanks!! Almost like being there.. on a side note I'm going to take my song for a day out here.
This is the country considering bringing back Boris, right? Makes all sense to me now.
"Clear the Bridge! DIVE! DIVE!" 😁
I’m enjoying watching from my lounge seat
Take note of the registration plate numbers would you buy these vehicles second hand after seeing the smoke of death just as they stop.
You should push Adam c in the water would be amazing content all round
Perhaps Adam C should push you in the water?
hes only there to leech views off these guys
@@davidrobert2007 only having a bit of fun fella and it’s unlikely he’d get the chance to push me in as standing around a ford all day ain’t a bit of me
@@Luckyjo21 It's not like these guys own the ford
@@Luckyjo21 So the first guy to film here was being original, and the other CZcamsrs that came afterwards are leeching off of the original guy?
Looks like the Centre Park holiday is off to a good start
Yeah. I was wondering if some of the traffic could be explained by Center Parcs
я из России, мне нравится ваш канал👌прикольно смотреть как кто проедет🤣
Excelente
It's amazing how many people just flush the intake with water and think that wave won't do any damage
you're getting close to 100K followers Ben! are you preparing a special? 😁
the season has started, the water is coming)))
These videos never ever stop being entertaining !.
They are kinda funny, yet it's sad seeing cars and vans destroyed by stupidity and ignorance.
0:48 that didn't sound good... RIP white van!

Maniacs in action
I would really love to know the thought process of some of these drivers....$50k car, drive through a flooded ford, or drive a couple of extra miles....POWER !
I'm astonished. truly astonished! A BMW driver that appears to have some brains!!! (4:40). Has to be a first...
We all knew that sprinter wouldn't make it. Also never recover using the tow ball!
Would love to see the white Mercedes recovery, bet it was full of water
Sprinters and water dont go very well together 🤣
Jimny's are unstoppable.
You know it's going to be a good one when the water level is above 1.5
OMG can't believe so many people going for it
The Toyota Yaris seems to be impervious to the Rufford Ford, they never get stranded! I’m curious what about the Sprinter vans makes them so vulnerable to hydrolocking.
@Alex Like wise the Toyota Aygo and its Peugeot 107/Citroën C1 syblings.
The air intake is like 2 cm above the ground on Sprinters.
Their air intake is somewhere behind the grill, sucking in water as soon as it reaches the headlights
👍🏻👍🏻
All in their little bubble.....Then.......POP!!!
This is the best place to advertise for you business 😂
wow
Is fuel that expensive that it's now more expensive to go the 3 miles around, than replace/rebuild an engine.
What some people go through just to get on CZcams !!!😂😂😂
That sprinter is fuuuuuuuucckked
5:00 the invisible trailer.
what i would like to know is there sign posted to let drivers know to drive slow though the flooded ford ? but then again we wont get some fascinating videos that i love watching from Melbourne ,Australia..
Hi. Did you teach the phone how to swim today? :-D Helping with the Ford Escort? Maybe I'm wrong. :-)
The abject ignorant of people of what they are using everyday is breath-taking. Yes: they drive this BMW SUV...and it should make them all-powerful, right? Until they meet 50 cm of water...
When was this filmed?
The van we protect what matters..... Not the engine huh...
When it's this depth are the "road closed" signs up?
2:38 I expect That moho cost well north of £100k, why would you risk that, especially on a Sprinter chassis :[
White Submarine)))))
Sprinter killer
Personally, if I pulled up to that ford in a car with 4 inches of ground clearance, and saw that there was two feet of water, I'd find another way. I love that people aren't that smart, though because these videos are great. You need someone to shout "you can't park there" whenever someone stalls.
Most people really believe an engine runs on water
I would open a re con engine garage on that road. Plenty of passing trade or more like towed in trade.
and the "experts" in the background calling out cars that will stall when they didnt
Too many of those drivers didn't deserve to have their cars survive that!
Oh dear
1:00 😆🤣
Hydrolock city. I have a Range Rover sport with 950 mm wading depth and I don’t think I would take it through. 😂
Leivers, home of fresh food and a fresh engine in the work van
That sounds at 1:07
Designed by genius, manufactured by craftsmen. Driven by a dullard.
Why would you do that, Absolute madness
it is called fun
Good effort to all those who got through unscaved lol
Good effort to all those who fucked their vehicles! 😂
0:38 double bubble
